Easy to find and only 200 steps from Harveys (yes I counted). The rooms are extremely clean and seem to be recently remodeled. The staff are locals and can tell you the best restaurants and how to get to the little known best places to see at the lake. You would be surprised at the great food you can get in Tahoe at very reasonable prices. Just ask Grant, Tim or Caroline for suggestions. The 7 Seas Inn has a nice little breakfast nook with fresh fruit, multiple cereals, fresh milk and OJ, good coffee and tea among other quick breakfast foods. A nice surprise is they can serve mix drinks to the guests (at a much better price than a bar or major hotel) and have a big screen TV to watch while enjoying a light breakfast.
If you're staying at the 7 Seas in the winter and flying into Tahoe airport, give them a call ahead of time and they'll even pick you up at the Harveys' shuttle stop so you don't have to drag your bags and skis to the inn. Cabs are not the most abundant and reliable transportation in Tahoe.
Overall a great place to stay at a very very reasonable price! Much better than paying 3-4 times the price at the major hotels in the area.More
