We stayed here for a week. We wanted to be close to the casinos and be able to walk to the tram at Heavenly to ski. The owners were very personable and helpful. They had discounted lift tickets which was great since Heavenly is a bit expensive. Our room was nice, neat, and clean. It had a small round table with 2 chairs, another small writing desk, the bed was comfortable, heating was fine, there was an overhead fan, a small refrigerator, a small microwave, and of course, cable TV--very moderately priced compared to other motels we looked at in the area. A few of the rooms had fireplaces, but they were already booked . They have a hot tub, and a nice selection of cereals, muffins, bagels, waffles, OJ, tea, and coffee for breakfast. They also have wireless internet, and allow dogs.

Overall we were very satisfied for the price and we will come back here again.

We had a great stay all around stay for 4 days in winter at the 7 Seas Inn. The service was outstanding the whole time we were there. Managment and staff all treated us with repect, were very welcoming, and made our stay very enjoyable. For the excelent service and surrounds offered, this was very inexpective stay. The hotel is walking distance for casinos, shops, and sking resorts, idealy located in California one block from the Navada boarder. Our stay was outstanding, enjoyable, and special. A positive experience staying at the 7 Seas Inn in South Lake Taheo.

My sister and I stayed there for 4 days for some R&R. Adorable affordable place. The room was very comfortable and everything was clean. Breakfast is free, with lots of serve yourself choices. They also have a small fridge and microwave so we didn't have to eat out every meal. And they are only a couple of blocks from the casinos and a private beach. Kent & Carolyn are the best, very friendly, with lots of info about where to eat and places to go. They really go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. They also let people keep their pets in certain rooms (not all the rooms, in case you are allergic don't worry). We had a marvelous time and we plan on going again next year, only this time we'll be staying for longer!

Dusty little rooms with breaking locks. Extremely thin walls. Lame breakfast.

We went there to see Stevie Wonder in concert. From the MOTEL we could hear him doing sound check for the concert. Definitely a plus.

The place was okay, but it was affordable for a Saturday night. They still use keys here. We had to be careful when we used the air conditioner because it drowned out the noise of the TV.

The room was ok, nothing exciting. The refrigerator was in the closet because of the lack of space. There were two double beds in the room so it made the room a tight fit. The bathroom was spacious, but everything looked outdated. I was a flashback to the 70's.

The location was great. It was close to the beach and really close to Harvey's. You could enter through the back entrance to the casino with a 5 minute walk.

In the morning the have a continental breakfast that is set up in the office/lobby. There is frozen waffles, cereal, oatmeal, and other pastries. It looks like they go to the store and buy it.

This is owned by this couple and they are really nice, but the place needs a facelift.

If you are looking for a place to crash the night and don't like bells and whistles then this place is great, but I don't know if I will stay here again. Though it was affordable.

Great place, wonderful people. My husband and his brother stayed at the 7 Seas for a couple of weeks for business and they both loved the place it was very clean and the owners were such wonderful, kind people. They fed them in the morning and occasionally fed them at night since they were so far away from home. I would recommend the 7 Seas to family and friends. We are actually going to plan a trip to Tahoe just to visit with the owners. Love this place! Love the people!

We stayed here for three nights mid-week with their three night summer special rate. Every other place was much more and the casinos in town were at least double the price. The location is great as it's a short walk to the casinos (less than a 1/4 mile) and the private beach (little more than 1/4 mile) that the hotel shares with a couple of the other hotels. The price and the location is what gets this an above average rating. The room had a nice sized tv and plenty of channels. It also had a mini-fridge and air conditioning. The bed was huge and we slept well. The room is small but adequate. If you're not concerned about fancy digs and more concerned with a place to pass out after a full day of activities, this is the place. Besides, with the money you save on the room you have more to spend on the fun stuff on the lake...
