We spent three nights in one of Lakeland's individually owned units, a Studio with Loft.
The unit we stayed in was updated, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed (with the exception of dish soap). Located in the lodge, on the Tahoe Boulevard side, though we did not have any problems with road noise as other reviewers did. Our overall stay was great. We are light breakfast eaters, particularly before skiing/snowboarding, so the Continental Breakfast was perfectly satisfying (coffee, bagels, muffins, waffles, yogurt, granola, cereal, etc.). Not sure why others complain about getting this at no cost. If you want a full breakfast with long wait times and bad service, just visit Heidi's next door. Location was convenient. Did not use shuttles to Heavenly or Sierra, but good that they are available. We rented ski gear from the shop in the lobby for an adult and child, at about half the cost of the mountain resort shops. Friendly staff throughout. My only gripe was that the unit was not very clean. There were black strands of hair in the bathtub, bathroom floor, and on our "clean" towels (and my current hair color is ash blonde). Despite this, I would visit again.More
