“Great remote getaway”

Stayed here in April with friends. The house is located in a remote delevopment that takes about 30 minutes to get to from the main road. A 4x4 is a must since it is a sand road. Once there the place is incredible and the view.... Breathtaking! Make sure to go to yum yum market as they have the best selection and buy enough groceries for your trip. Tofo is a great little town and the restaurants have great food!

“The Lookout - somewhere close to Heaven”
Reviewed May 24, 2012 for a stay in March 2012

I cannot really express how much we enjoyed our stay here. It is just a very special place. We have stayed in villas all around the world but never quite like The Lookout.
The villa is in immaculate condition (it is brand new). Clean and comfortable with friendly staff and every facility that is needed. We found the isolation particularly charming but you should be aware there is no shop around the corner.
Both Tofu and Inhambane (both 30 mins drive) are charming with good restaurants and bars. Fresh seafood can be purchased at either and the markets are full of wonderful local produce and souvenirs. What surprised me most was just how friendly all the people are. Such a refreshing experience. (I guess they don't have tourist fatigue!)
It is, quite simply, a treasure.
