“very lucky surprise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2012

We could search for a nice place in Cyprus only 3 days ahead - and found the most beautiful one, the best holiday dwelling we ever had.

Everything is built and furnished intelligently with good taste and sense and respect for the material, for nature and the surrounding history. So one likes to handle these precious things with care. Please don't expect a kitchen meant to fry german or wiener Schnitzel. Happy to be on vacation we went to the neighboring Lord Kitcheners Restaurant - refined and british - or to the many fish taverns in the roundabouts. But we did enjoy our own breakfast - with toast, tea and coffee, pomegranates or other delightful cyprus fruit - inside our pretty Terra Verte-studio or out on the terrace and other little meals as well.
All is calm, we only heard the water of the swimming pool and birds. With this real beauty all around to see and touch we were happy to not be bothered by any Télé or other virtually distracting devices. Very very reposing!

5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2012

we stayed here for 2 nights in june 2012. we were given the orcre room which is a rustic one bed in that leads straight out onto the pool. the whole trip was perfect. its quiet, quaint and perfectly formed. wer ate both nights in the lord kitcheners restaurant in the village and stolled back in the moonlight to an empty hotel leaving us to swim late into the night (no thomas cook rep telling us off for swimming in the pool agter hours!!)
we had our two children with us (2 and 6), and although the entertainment is non existant, what more do kids need but a pool and a laptop full of kids movies.
absolutly perfect and have already booked another 2 nights next month!!
check again for my next review as ot sure how it will be if there were any other guests (and thier kids) there!!

3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2012

I stayed here in March and found the location to be beautiful in the small village of Psematismenos. It is in a very hilly area and there are many steps to navigate and cobbled streets which adds to the rustic experience. The owner did come and say hello when I requested for a hairdryer (as it isn't provided) and even offered to go to the next town to buy one for me ! Rooms are basic and there is no TV and internet. The Lord Taverners Restaurant is just down the hill and you can almost smell the wonderful cuisine from the front gate !
