Hike is a bit longer up the mountain than represented. Wear shoes for going under falls...lots of rocks.

It is about a 15 Minute walk to get there, but along the way you can see many interesting plants. The waterfall is really nice, we took a shower which clearly gives you a feeling what 30 meter means :-). At least as nice as Git Git waterfalls, but hardly any tourists and you don't have to past 30 gift shops to get there... only a little bar for a drink set up by local people. Enterence fee though is higher than Git Git, but is used for the local community.

This was a fantastic little excursion. The hike takes about 15 minutes through the forest. Definitely wear water shoes and take a camera.

The place is perfect. A stunning waterfall, a shady rambutan orchard and a very relaxing walk to the fresh water.

But, at hte entrance, we were asked to give a contribution to repare the forest path to the fall. We are always to provide a donation - but when we were asked 30,000 IDR per person (including the children) our 'scam alarm' starts ringing.
After some haggling we payed 40,000 IDR for the four of us - a generous contribution we think - considering a rather big group of Balinese tourist whisking by for free.

We truly hope that this kind of scams decrease in the future.

A nice little hike up the forest and you'll find this Waterfall. Take a bath but do not expect anything else but forest, animals and the sounds of nature....for us it was just what we were looking for.
