Had lunch here yesterday - it was a Sunday so very busy - the food was extremely good and I thought was well priced - our group ordered the steak sandwich, the sweet potato wedges, fish and chips and the chilli salt squid - all of which was presented beautifully and tasted great. The counter service could have been quicker - but considering how busy they were we felt it was OK.The place buzzed and that made for a great atmosphere - although the decor is very basic. We all agreed the Whale Ale is their best beer - the others are an acquired taste- very bitter. You can order a 'tasting' tray of beers - a lot for one person to drink - 6 middies in all. Would not bother going for a tasting again - but will go back for another lunch.

We went to Murray's for lunch, as we had been to Murray's at Manly and really enjoyed it. We loved the vibe of the place - it was really busy, full of families with children running around, to couples and groups of friends. The beer went down a treat on a 34 degree day and the food was delicious and reasonably quick for the volume of people there. Would definitely return and take friends to experience it.

There food is fantastic.
Beer, well it's too bitter to my personal taste but that's subjective.
Can be crowded at times, especially when the tours arrives. But there service are fairly speedy consider the influx.

We arrived excited about the prospect of a full brewery experience only to be disappointed by a less than enthusiastic guide after paying and then kept waiting. The tour was then only five minutes with NO beer tasting. We travelled from Newcastle for this less than appalling service.
