Had lunch here yesterday - it was a Sunday so very busy - the food was extremely good and I thought was well priced - our group ordered the steak sandwich, the sweet potato wedges, fish and chips and the chilli salt squid - all of which was presented beautifully and tasted great. The counter service could have been quicker - but considering how busy they were we felt it was OK.The place buzzed and that made for a great atmosphere - although the decor is very basic. We all agreed the Whale Ale is their best beer - the others are an acquired taste- very bitter. You can order a 'tasting' tray of beers - a lot for one person to drink - 6 middies in all. Would not bother going for a tasting again - but will go back for another lunch.
