Walking the dogs around Lesmurdie, I kept being drawn to the sign to Lesmurdie falls. Having viewed many South African falls in my youth, I wanted to see what Australia had to offer. Well, finally we made the time, packed a picnic basket and off we went. What an enchanting/imposing place...not that this is the biggest fall that I have seen, or the wildest bush, but right on the doorstep of Lesmurdie suburbia is the opportunity to tune out and feel like you're in the bush! ..and the signage gives some excellent insight into the geology and history of the area
