The Old Coach House
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed November 19, 2013

We've stayed in many types of accommodation over the years and this is simply the best. The rooms are spacious, beautifully equipped, warm and cosy. The breakfast room is lovely, breakfast superb and Jackie and Amy, the managers are fantastic. They so obviously enjoy their job and offer 110%. We will be back.

Just spent a lovely weekend at the old coach house and couldn't of asked for more. The room was perfect , clean and very comfortable with everything you'll need. The breakfast was great both continental and cooked , but what made our stay complete was Amy and Jackie who may not have there name on the door but with there passion for this place and friendly warm personalities they make this place what it is. Will be back very soon. Thanks guys

Location - only 5 mins from Ripon. We used it as a base to visit both the Dales and the N Yorks Moors although Harrogate/York also in easy reach. No parking problems either!
Service - friendly and yet unobtrusive from the moment you pull into the car park until you leave. All had a good knowledge of the property and the area
Room was 2 Dale. Beautifully presented - scrupulously clean - bed was like getting into a cloud! Nice touches too which you can discover for yourselves!!
Breakfast - everything you could possibly want - cooked or continental - served in the old stable - lovely atmosphere
Price - good for the quality and service we received

Just returned from our second visit here and we were looked after fabulously again by Amy and Jackie. Comfortable rooms, superb breakfasts and 5 star service, what more can you ask for ?
This is easily the best place to stay in the whole of North Yorkshire and the location is perfect for access to the Dales or even the Lakes. Can’t wait for our third visit and many more. Thanks again to Amy and Jackie.

We only had one night here and didn't arrive till later afternoon but the room was comfortable, the welcome warm and breakfast was very good. The fridge in the room was a nice touch - particularly as we had been on a picnic that day and were off to a self-catering cottage the next night. We will certainly be back if we are in the area again.

Today I returned from the old coach house; I went with my partner for the second time, and we are hoping to make it an annual trip!
The journey there alone is beautiful, the surroundings are so picturesque and from the moment you arrive at the b&b you know you're going to have a perfect stay.
The staff are friendly and welcoming, and will always go the extra mile to cater for your needs and make you feel at home.
The rooms are luxurious yet cosy, and we were pleasantly surprised to find homemade chocolates and biscuits in the super deluxe room! A fabulous breakfast selection - I'm vegan and they were happy to adapt the cooked breakfast for me; it's great to have a selection of fresh fruit, cereals, preserves etc to choose from too.
In all honesty I can't fault this place: stunning surroundings, luxurious and comfortable accommodation, and professional, helpful staff - everything you want from an escape to the country!
