We visit Cape Town at least once or twice per year and never neglect to go for breakfast to this vi-by, buzzing restaurant. Totally unpretentious and noisy, the locals are in and out to collect from the bakery and every table is occupied, whilst all the other restaurants are empty. That should tell you everything. They make the best scramble egg for breakfast and give you HUGE servings. We have been for dinner too and that was even better. The only 'problem' is that they do not take reservations, but it is well worth the wait if there isn't a table available. And there is always something to watch, whales, dolphins, submarines passing, this time a fun run of sorts. And when you have eaten, it is pleasant to take a stroll down the road or across to the little harbor where the local fisherman work. A fantastic place to see the REAL Cape Town.
