This bed and breakfast is hidden away in the beautiful East Sussex countryside. The house is fantastically old and the double room in which we stayed was stunning. High ceiling with old wooden beams, and wooden flooring. Very clean and extremely comfortable bed, with extra Laura Ashley lambswool blankets.
The en-suite bathroom was not what you would expect at a regular B & B. It is a huge room with lovely marble (I think!) flooring and an old-fashioned stand alone bath. Also a very large walk in shower with an innovative draining system. Molton Brown products.
Breakfast in the morning is served at a gorgeous heavy wooden table right next to the large inglenook fireplace and includes everything from fresh fruit and cereals to full English breakfast. On the table you can find all the condiments you would want, and all jams and honeys are local to the Sussex area. Fantastic toast.
All in all, it is one of the best B & Bs that I have stayed at.
