We had lunch here and liked it so much we came back later for dinner.
Scampi and prawns for lunch were superb, then rib eye steak and sausage n mash at dinner were sublime.
We arrived at 8:22 pm not knowing that they closed the kitchen at 8:30. The lovely barman (think his name is Juner) checked the chef and was super smiley and welcoming. Everyone working there seemed so happy and hospitable it made both meals extra special.
The service was quick too. Juner came back to ask if all was okay and if we wanted dessert, this was in a full and busy pub. The lovely barmaid closed the garden doors for us as it was getting chilly and even though we offered she was very happy to do it whilst very busy clearing another table. A really lovely meal at a great pub. We will definitely be back.
