Location - quiet and relaxing, the cabin had everything we needed - many thanks to Richard for making it a very easy place to stay.
Plenty to keep us occupied for the week in the surrounding area - slates mines, steam trains, walks, lakes, beach, castles, all within a stunning landscape!
We stayed at Chalet Ty Cerrig for a week with our two children (aged 4years and 20 months)
The cabin was very well presented with everything we could have needed.
The location was perfect for us as there was easy access to lots of local beauty spots but it also felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. The view of Cadair Idris was spectacular in all weathers and the most enchanting backdrop.
The cabin was a lovely place to come back to after a long day on the beach or a mountain climb. We were very fortunate with the weather so made the most of dining outside and enjoying the garden which was brimming with birds and other wildlife.
Richard and Lynette were very welcoming and the kids loved Thor the dog.
We have had a wonderful break and very much look forward to returning again to do all the things we didn't get round to doing on this visit.
Thank you for having us
Ty Cerrig is set in a stunning location and within easy reach of lots of North Walean attractions.
The chalet itself is well kept and has every modern comfort you need.
We felt right at home there and thoroughly enjoyed our time staying there.
Richard was very helpful and attentive. We will certainly be staying again in the near future.
Beautiful peaceful location with gorgeous views, lots of lovely walking and cycling from the chalet. We loved it and plan to return.
The cabin has everything you can possibly need. It has a rustic feel outside but inside its welcoming and warm. The kitchen has everything, the beds are comfy. It's clean and tidy. There is a TV and DVD player. Books and board games on the shelf. Literally everything!
The views are amazing and we was lucky to get some lovely weather, therefore we made use of the outside decking area and the grass verge at the back. It was very picturesque and reminded me of being abroad.
Richard is a lovely host, very welcoming and at hand if we needed him.
The only problem we had, was that we didn't want to leave and even asked for an extra night but unfortunately it was already booked!
Richard & Lynette were perfect hosts.
The chalet is in a lovely, remote location with views of the mountains and woods behind.
The owner's property is near enough should you need help but far enough away that it doesn't overlook the chalet. As the only holiday accomodation on site so you also won't be disturbed by other holidaymakers.
It rained for the 4 days myself and my fiance were there but we had a great time and would love to go again.
