“Excellent food”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

Had our holiday party here after last 3 years at CDA Resort. The food was so much better here, staff great, prices a lot more reasonable. I would highly recommend their restaurant!

“Great Food, horrible service for breakfast”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

We ate breakfast in this restaraunt because we had stayed at the hotel. The dining room has great atmosphere but we had horrible service. We would have to hold our coffee cups up to be refilled and were still ignored, even callled out to a waitress who turned around looked at us and then walked away. My Havana Benedict was really delicious and I would love to have it again but I am so irritated at the service we experienced I don't think I will ever go back. it wasn't just our waitress who ignored us after we recieved our meals. We tried to get anyone's attention who walked by our table. Finally our waitress came to drop off our check and said she was sorry she got busy. She had several opportunites to express this to us on her way by our table to retrieve and deliver food to other tables, but never made the effort. Very dissapponted experience after I had heard so many good things about this place.

“The garlic butter with pesto olive oil and balsamic was the best part of the meal”
Reviewed October 19, 2012

We were stuck eating at the hotel restaurant because it was Parents weekend at 2 of the colleges and the restaurant we really wanted to go to was booked solid.
The restaurant is really pretty. Modern and hip. Our server was friendly. The bread was nice and hot. There was a garlic butter with pesto olive oil and balsamic vinegar. It was delicious! The menu had a huge selection of appetizers and entrees. Our server didn't recommend the special fish but did recommend the "prime" rib eye steak. When we got our steaks the presentation was nice but the steak, there is no way it was a "prime" steak. It was tough and chewy despite being a medium-pink temperature. It reminded us of one of those chain restaurants steaks but triple the price.
Our jaws were too tired to order dessert.

Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to post on trip advisor. It is a great tool for me to see that things stay at a caliber we can be proud of at The MAX.
I assure you that our every day entrees of every kind are top notch, and would love to extend you a courteous welcome back to the MAX the next time you are visiting your children in Spokane, Please contact me personally at the restaurant so I can take the opportunity to guide you through our extensive menu personally, and find something suitable for your entire party,
I think The Cashew Lime Sea Bass that is the fish feature currently is delicious and also gluten free. I assure you that our Rib Eye steaks are indeed prime, and apologize that our preparation did not meet expectations, and intend to rectify your first experience if given the chance.
I look forward to serving you on your next visit to Spokane.
Yours In service,

“Good food, amazing variety”
Reviewed October 5, 2012

The restaurant offered everything from a bowl of clam chowder to some amazing-sounding meals, including salmon and some other less typical main dishes. Everyone I talked to liked everything they were served.
