What beautiful accommodation in a beautiful setting. The self contained cottage was very stylish and the spa, which looked a little small on the webpage was more than big enough for two people. The breakfast was great and certainly catered well for those with gluten intolerances. The minibar was also well stocked (the chocolate mousse desserts were awesome!!). My husband really enjoyed fishing in the dam, it was a pity we didn't stay longer as we would have loved to have fired up the camp fire procided there as well.
Worth every dollar, this was relaxing, luxurious and simply beautiful.

The setting is just beautiful. The birds chirping, the barking owls and the country surrounds are very relaxing. The Hosts are brilliant. Very friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to help us. The breakfast hamper was delicious, along with the choccies and coffee. We definitely didn't want to leave, and are very keen to return again. The cottages are just beautiful and kept in immaculate condition. The deck has a fantastic view and is a great place to wind down. The Double Spa is also a nice place to relax. It is a very special spot. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay (although it went too fast).

The cottage was clean and welcoming and the location gave us all the peace and tranquility we needed. Breakfasts were huge, and the steak provided in the "Raptor Hamper" was the best we have had in decades. We really appreciated all the extra little touches around the cottage and spent long hours on the back deck conversing with the cows! We would also recommend visits to nearby wineries and distilleries, coffee and chocolate factories. We enjoyed the break - a feast for the taste buds and for the soul.

We had a wonderful time at the retreat, so private and relaxing we didn't leave the place until it was time to check out. We were fortunate enough to hear the Barking Owls - a quick phone call from our hosts Tanya and Chris had us trudging up the hill with torch in hand to listen quietly to the owls barking - at first we were sure it was dogs in the distance! Beautifully decorated with the owl theme not too over done - spa bath to die for , everything you need on hand and if not Chris will quickly rectify this with a trip on his quad bike with whatever it is that is need and privacy plus! What more could you want. Food for the soul............

We enjoyed the peace and quiet. Our teenage daughter enjoyed the time to sit back, relax and read a book. The television didn't even get turned on! The cottage and its facilities are clean and very comfortable. The three of us enjoyed our two night stay. The hosts are there but are not in your way however they are available to offer advice on the Atherton district. On our second night we cooked using the bbq provided at the cottage and ate fresh produce bought from the area - it was lovely. We didn't feel the need to be anywhere else. We're sorry we didn't make the time to walk down to the jetty and view the lake........... next time perhaps.
