We stopped at Komodo Island as one of our Indonesian port stops on a cruise. Guided tour through the national park was great. We saw the Komodo Dragons and the tour guide (Eric) was a wonderful and informative host. After that we travelled by 2 small boats to Pink Beach to do some snorkelling. The snorkelling was really good, not as good as Lifou, but still good. There was loads of sea life to explore. Lunch on the boat was also provided after the tour. It was a great day out and I recommend this tour.

My husband and I visited Komodo Island in late December 2019. We booked the tour with Top Komodo Tours and everything was very well organised - from the emails to the very end of the tour. Very informative and friendly staff, everything went smoothly and on time. Staff took us to the komodos and explained things well. Snorkelling at Pink Beach was nice. The boat was cool, the food yummy. Some little gifts at the end of the tour was a nice touch and great way to finish the tour. I would definitely recommend the tour.

I booked this tour for 19 people independently before we got on our Sun Princess cruise and the email responses from Top Komodo Tours was fast and efficient. They supplied an official tour confirmation letter which I gave to the Front Desk and the Tour Desk on the Princess Cruise Ship which meant we were all able to catch the tenders to Komodo Island for our tour (note that if you don't have a tour booked on Komodo Island - independently or through the cruise ship - then you are not permitted to get off the cruise ship at this port).
The Top Komodo tour reps were excellent. They met us as soon as we landed on Komodo Island, provided us with free cold drinks, and took us on a one hour walking trek to see the Dragons. We saw Dragons in the "wild" on our walk to the watering hole, and 7 Dragons at the watering hole. Amazing! The information provided by the Top Komodo tour rep was very informative. We then walked approx 15 minutes up an incline (pretty easy walk) to the top of a hill for fantastic views over the bay, the rest of the Island, and to our cruise ship.
Next was a bit of shopping in the numerous stalls then off to our wooden boat to take us snorkelling at Pink Beach. Another highlight of this trip! The boat was large and easily accommodated us with plenty of seating in the shade. Pink Beach was clean and beautiful. All snorkelling equipment was provided by Top Komodo Tours so we spent an hour snorkelling the crystal clear waters and also lazing on the beach. You could also take a walk up a nearby hill to see beautiful views of the area (which is also well worth doing). Then it was back on the wooden boat to take us back to the pier to catch our tender back to the Princess Cruise ship. Whilst travelling back Top Komodo Tours provided more free cold water and soft drinks, as well as an amazing buffet lunch - which was more than we expected and must admit that between us we couldn't eat it all! Then we were given a free t-shirt and post cards of the Dragons to take home. Such a fabulous day and truly value for money. Don't pay for the overpriced cruise tour (which doesn't give you free drinks, lunch, or a t-shirt) - go with Top Komodo Tours!

We saw 5 Komodo dragons at the watering hole, 1 right when we started on the path by the toilets, and a wild boar. Our ranger and tour guide (Lexi) were both amazing. The boat ride to pink beach was beautiful and the snorkeling was superb. We saved $90/person booking through them over the cruise excursion. The food on the way back was delicious and way more than we expected to get. They even gave us post cards, extra sodas, and free Komodo t-shirts. Don’t waste your money on a cruise ship excursion, go with Top Komodo Tours.

Booked this tour independently from a Cruise calling into Komodo Island. Very easy to arrange and good communication from the company leading up to the tour. Everything as stated.worked out much better than the exact same tour organised by the Cruise ship, as was $60per person cheaper and we had a lovely group of around 14 people, whereas those on the cruise had 30 or more on their group. Well run and our tour leader Lexie was fantastic. Saw the dragons and then a lovely day snorkelling at pink beach which really is pink! A lovely lunch provided on the boat on the way back to meeting with our tender. Highly recommended
