We stayed here as part of a No Roads kayaking trip.
A peaceful and pleasant hotel with more than adequate facilities. Although it is a couple of km out of Labuan Bajo, it is a delightful walk into and out of town.
Staff are friendly and helpful and food is great.

Beautiful flower covered grounds, lovely clean room and hot showers. I really cant complain about the service or quality, just that for the price it felt a little stingey sometimes. IE, no wifi unlike the cheapest backpacker hostels and to serve instant coffee with breakfast, and to charge 50k for every trip to town when a moto charges literally 1/10th that.
Otherwise a great relaxing spot, especially after a fee days on a boat!

LBJ is really booming as a tourist destination with hotels being built around the town.
At present prices are steep and choice limited. Ecolodge is 2kms out of town behind a dirty beach. The hotel is quaint and friendly but showing it's age. Cleanliness is patchy and the whole place could do with some upgrades.
Food is average and pricy, better option at hotel gates plus wifi which is not available at the Ecolodge.

Stayed here 3 nights all up as part of a No Roads tour we did out to Komodo National park. It was lovely, so quiet, there are only 6 rooms, and 2 chalets, so never more than a handful of guests, the rooms were lovely and clean, with a/c that probably worked too well. The bed was comfy and pillows were too. The pool was lovely, the staff were so friendly and the food they whipped up was good. Only thing is there is no fridges in each room which would be handy, and there is no tv and no wifi, but there is a computer there that you can use for internet, and a restuarant next door where you can get free wifi. Lovely gardens too with quite a few birds and other wildlife to keep you entertained.

Flores was the highlight of my trip to Indonesia. It is a beautiful, green, quiet island. This lodge is a delight, and perfect for travelers interested in wildlife and nature. The rooms are spacious and light and look out toward the ocean. There is a beautiful garden and pool. Staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. It is an ideal base for exploring Rinca, Komoda and Flores. The lodge will take care of all your travel needs and find you excellent guides for your trips. I had a wonderful three days here and hope to return.
