I did my Open water dive course with bajo dive club in august 2013. Stefan the dive instructor explained everything perfectly and did all the exercises with enough time to understand and practice. The crew was really nice and the dives in Komodo national park were amazing. Another plus is that they, Being the oldest and most experienced dive club in Labuan bajo also support the local community In only hiring locals! Thumbs up! Will definitely come back!!

We had two great Diving Trips with Bajo Dive Club! The staff was very quick, extremely professionel and friendly. We had a Super dive with Stefan, our Instructor, who is a very patient and confiding person who knows very well the dive sites and its currents!
We will definitely come next time we are in Flores!! Highly recommended!

We did 2 days - 4 dives with Bajo. Guides were great as were all the staff. Boat was fine and equipment no problem. Picked us up in boat from out hotel on another beach. Thank you. Crystal rock awesome!

We are a couple and did a 3 days/2 nights live-aboard diving with Bajo Dive Club in August and really loved the friendly, relaxed atmosphere on the boat.

We went to really beautiful diving spots like Crystal Rock, Castle Rock, Manta Point, Tatawa Besar, etc.
The Komodo National Park landscape is just breathtaking, full of islands, and the diving too: we saw sharks, manta rays, turtles, dolphins, tunas, and so much more big fish!

It was also nice to sleep on the boat surrounded by water, islands and stars.
The boat 'Bajo 1', a typical boat from Flores, rustically and made out of wood, but it was comfortable and the equipment was good too.
Franck (the owner) dove with us and cooked delicious food. Lukas, the dive master, was great with his good mood and enthusiasm for diving!

We liked it so much that we booked a second live aboard with Bajo Dive Club as soon as we came back on shore!

Regarding the price, we were first skeptical because the live-aboard was a little cheaper than the ones from the other dive clubs in Labuan Bajo, but were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the service.

We dove with bajo dive club and stayed also with them in a bungalow of their resort.
The Diving is excellent with very friendly staff, good and well maintained material and breathtaking divesites. The current sometimes does get pretty strong but the DMs are competent and take all precautions necessary. Prices are ok (80$/ 2 dives in komodo national park excluding entrance fees).
The resort is in a rather remote location off town. Situated directly at the beach it is very quiet and the surroundings are just beautiful. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming and the resort is obviously built with a lot of care. The bungalows are very nice and comfortable and the outdoor bathroom is really cool - there is nothing like a nice shower in lush tropical surroundings to rinse off the salt of a good day of diving. The food was good to very good but not outstanding (curry was a little blant), and the night market in labuan bajo is definitely worth a shot for fresh fish.
The resort is not finished yet, however. There is no warm water, electricity is only available 6pm to 6am (so neither fans nor ac during the hot days) and there is also no wifi. We talked to the very nice owner (german couple) about it and they told us that they actually had already bought a boiler and everything but the government just doesnt lives up to its promise to install electricity lines to the resort. Although we understand how tedious this must be, i think that this is within the sphere of risk of the owners and not of the guests. Henceforth the 60$ per night for the rooms are too high considering the lack of basic facilities. This resort is definitely worth a 70$ per night when its done, but now everything more than 30-40$ is too much compared to the other hotels in labuan bajo.
So to sum up: awesome dive school and a resort with a lot of potential, which however needs to work on the very basics to earn its value.
