Nice interior decor in a beautiful setting.

The restaurant food was so bad we did not finish half the dishes. The rice was overcooked and old. We got our food 50 minutes too late.

No water in our room. They said they would fix it. They have not done anything to fix it. Its now 9pm 3 people are in my room working on it.

I have asked for a discount. They say no discount. I ask to speak to the manager. They say no manager. Manager is in France.

My advice is avoid this place.

If you want to just stay at the hotel and not go on any day trips, then this is the hotel for you.

I however, would still NOT recommend this hotel regardless of what you want to do (or not do). I should have listened to the advice of other travellers who had also posted, such as Kunal M. Most tour companies will not pick you up here and taxis won't take you here as there is no paved road to get to the hotel...not sure if they're in the process of paving it or not, looked like that might be the case.

I rented a motorbike/scooter and it was treacherous due to the rocky conditions of the dirt roads (see pictures). It is also a ten minute hike up to the dirt road from the hotel. Takes about 20-30 minutes from hotel on scooter. You have to drive slow due to the huge rocks and potholes.

Hotel offers a "free shuttle boat" but only to drop you at the resort next door so you can take a 100,000 IDR taxi to the city and only until 17:00. Please note, hotel staff told me the taxi was 100,000 IDR however, I was charged by the hotel's driver, Alex, 150,000 IDR.

For my return shuttle to the airport, I specifically requested, in writing, not to be taken by Alex, but they sent him to take me anyway. The guy has two cellphones that he is constantly answering and calling people, while driving. I did not feel safe, not to mention, he had overcharged me before.

The hotel grounds are nice but the rooms are rustic, at best. Not worth $64 USD/night AT ALL! I was eaten alive by the mosquitos even while under the mosquito net. The sheets had stains on them and you could see through the wooden floors, not very eco friendly with an AC.

Hotel staff are nice, however communication is limited and this causes many misunderstandings. It was very difficult to deal with the manager as a result. I tried to communicate my misgivings about this place and even sent emails instead, in hopes we could communicate via writing and google translate.

I was really disappointed and let down at all the money I wasted.

We stayed here for two days. The hotel is short boat ride from the city in a bay with a quiet beach in front. While the rooms are nice, you have to climb several steps. But the view from the room and cozy terrace is just perfect. We also did a boat trip with the hotels boat and it was also good. The staff was always super friendly and very helpful with all the questions we had.

Room Tip: Take on of the higher rooms for a better view into the bay

This is the worst resort we stayed at during our honeymoon. My wife wanted to leave the place the minute we were shown our room. Whilst the view is breathtaking, the bad points about this hotel did not manage to salvage our stay.
1. Rooms were not clean, the bathroom is not completely closed off. Builders working in a villa up or passers by can enjoy a great view of you whilst you are answering nature's call!
2.the hotel is very far from the city, so recommend you get a scooter from town if you dont mind a bumpy ride along broken, pothole-infested roads otherwise you'll be fleeced for IDR 120 000 for one way trip to town.
3. Lots of HUGE geckos in the bedroom and balcony. The geckos were so scary big that we had to change the room(at least here the staff redeemed themselves!)We even had a bat visiting us in our bathroom.
4. Water supply is not constant. Taking a quick shower is redefined in this hotel.
5. There were building works going on at a villa next to ours and the builders woke us up at 7am. Their presence next to our bare bathroom made it even more uncomfortable for us.
6. The "manager", cum skipper, cum head waiter cum receptionist cum accounts clerk did not even heed to us when we complained about the noise or the electricity power cut!
7. If you have the idyllic picture of a secluded, remote white sandy beach in mind, you'll be terribly surprised. The beach is dirty, filthy which is shocking for a beach that remote with hardly any houses around. If not their fault, some of the staff who sat idly for most part of the day could have at least cleaned the part in front of the hotel.
8. Internet is only available from 6.30 pm to 9 pm at the reception. Mind you it stops working when the receptionist moves / goes to the toilet!
9. You got to be incredibly fit to climb the steep flights of stairs to your rooms (whether you access the hotel from the beach or the back road) and we aren't exactly unfit people!
10. The hotel redefined even a basic breakfast. We asked for toast and cheese. We were given stale bread with parmesan. Cherry on the cake, at checkout the receptionist cum manager tried to make us pay for meals that we never ordered/ate.

This resort could be at the furthest point at Bajo, can be found only after the Plataran. Going to the resort is not easy, still rocky and sandy; but the resort offers jetty for the guests where they can pick you or send you to the other resort (Waecicu Beach Inn) and easier for the drivers or the guests to arrive at the resort.
Talking about the resort, i love the faciities. They have wooden house and its quite separated from others' houses. You get the ambience of staying in forest kinda thing which is very peaceful for people who prefer quiet moment. There is a choice of executive and deluxe room, where in deluxe room you get bigger room, with aircon, mini fridge and balcony.
Lobby and dining area is on the shoreline so you can get nice view of the beach when you are dining.
For breakfast, its kinda limited. A non buffet style, you select from their menu and they cook it for you.
Overall, i like this place.
