Second time we've been, and there didn't seem to be as much to see as the first time. Maybe it's the wrong time of year, or maybe the increased number of visitors - some who are loud - scared off the wildlife. But considering that the Festival of Wings is supposed to be when migratory wading birds stop by, none stopped by in the park itself. The organisers have to bus and boat out people to where they actually do stop - which I think should be the 'real' stated location of the Festival of Wings, with the KSNP being just the departure point and 'other festive activities' venue. The agenda did not make it clear that the actual 'wings' part was elsewhere, with particular departure times.
