My husband and I recently stayed in this beautiful old house with our 2 friends. The period features marry well with modern comforts, sumptuous furniture and open fire. The plentiful good sized bedrooms are spacious and homely.
It is set in the sleepy village of La Chapelle D'Andaine and the hotel opposite were warm and welcoming serving local cuisine and drinks, with a boulangerie and carrafour a walk away.
The location is ideally situated to explore the region, we had some lovely days out visiting Bagnoles-de-L'Orne, Domfront, Alencon with their markets and only an hour and forty minutes from the Normandy D-Day Beaches and Bayeaux.
I would definitely recommend a stay here and am looking forward to going back next year!
