“Haven from the Monsoon!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 25, 2012

I was visiting friends who happen to live nearby to Mangoes and having been caught in a very heavy storm options were limited as to where to dine alfresco. Problem solved as the dining area is enclosed within a courtyard area and we were able to concentrate on our food and wine without fear of getting drenched. Food is first class and beats handsdown what is offered in some of the swankier hotels on the Island.. along with that you get the personal attention of the owners Michelle and Lutz. Added to which a big thank you to Michelle for the must be sampled Crepe for desert, which was adorned with candle and rendering of Happy Birthday as it was delivered to the table. Cheers!

We are very glad you enjoyed your time with us. Wow what a night...all that wind and rain. Glad the candle stayed alight! Hopefully we will see you again on your next visit to Langkawi.

“Reg. Swordfishs post from 7/29”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 2, 2012

I don’t know which place Swordfish went to. I’ve been a regular customer of the Mangoes fort the past three years. Nothing of Swordfish comments matches the Mangoes I know. Nobody in his/ her right mind could mistake the so obviously AUSTRALIEN, very cheerful and welcoming Lady for a grumpy and patronizing old English Lady.
There are only two questions left.
What is the meaning of “uninaciativ“?
And why did it take you several times to find out that they deliver „uninaciativ“
cooking results?
As far as I am concerned friends, family and myself still keep up the five stars for the Mangoes.

It was an absolute pleasure to have you and Connie. I wish you all the best in Vietnam and still trying to work out how to get you a fisherman's pie in HCMC in Vietnam Love to you both. Michele and Lutz

“Friendly, Nice and Cosy”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 11, 2012

The excelent food and portioning will surprise you, the atmosphere is like in a bistro, all talk and share present and past stories around the bar whit the owners always there to make you comfortable and happy to be there, price are nicely reasonable and don't miss the Sunday brunch served with a bloody marry or a champagne orange bubbly.
Thank you Mangos it’s yuummmyyy….
