“Great day out”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 12, 2012

Lovely surroundings, peaceful and laid-back day out - even with 2 young children. Kids love the woodland walk with creature spotting, vegetable gardens and giant games. Lots to do, great value day out.

A wonderful piece of East Yorkshire History still occupied by the owners. Something to see all year round.

“A lovely day out.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 25, 2012

A lovely house but we go to see the gardens. There is a small wood behind the gardens, with a woodland walk(with a carpet of snowdrops at this time of year). Being a little off the beaten track it is never too crowded; there is a cafe and a few shops in the courtyard, free parking; and the last time I went it was £5 for adults to spend as much time in the gardens as they wished. I don't know the current ticket price for the house. A lovely day out for all the family.
