Amazing find. We came here after visiting ettington park to book our wedding. The place stunning. The decor is amazing and the food is to die for. My partner actually titled her burger as the best she had ever had. Top notch and will definitely be revisiting

“Called in after a day shopping”
Reviewed July 31, 2014 via mobile

Called in the pub after a days shopping on our way back to Ettington park hotel, the service was quick and the staff helpful had read reviews on this place and some people said the service was slow not on this occasion. The food was nice and well presented would go again. Wife is a vegetarian and was a bit disappointed by the choices available.

“Friends Celebration”
Reviewed July 27, 2014

We went to the Bell to celebrate our friends 25th wedding anniversary. The food was excellent, with friendly staff, the menu has good varied selection covering a variety of styles and should accommodate the most picky of eaters. I have eaten on numerous occasions at the Bell and have always been impressed by the quality of the cooking. The bar, restaurant, terrace and gardens are all very welcoming. My only concern is that their appears to be no real leadership or strong direction of what is a young though accommodating staff. You may have to chase up your drinks or wait a little longer than is reasonable to be seated or for your food to arrive. However this did not distract from our excellent evening and I would highly recommend The Bell for a good lunch, dinner or bar snack.

“The chefs are let down by the waiting staff”
Reviewed July 24, 2014

The chefs are definitely talented and the food beautiful to look at and even better to eat. The menu is just the right side of unusual and the dishes work, although the prices are on the steep side; as other TA have noted at lot of the options on the set menu had sold out and we were there on a Tuesday evening 7.30pm- the buying needs to be sorted out. The dining rooms are lovely, with many small sub sections and a large beer garden, with a choice of seating arrangements which is mainly paved, so good for wheelchair users. Dogs are welcome too. The real problem at this establishment seems to be the waiting staff, either there are not enough of them or they are badly trained. We had no consistent person, no contact at all throughout the meal, you didn't know who to ask for water/wine/explanations of the menu/the bill. The staff there seemed rushed of their feet, but doing what? Because our "service" was just a delivery service, and nothing more. The food/decor/ambience is of an excellent standard, the waiting staff are not and frankly they spoilt an otherwise perfect meal.

We had a beautiful meal and the wait staff were very friendly. My wife fell in love with the decor.
