Called in this afternoon for a drink....
We were met with a lovely smile (priceless) and superb hospitality. Both my husband and I have to admit that 'The Bell' is one of our favourites.
We Have eaten here several times, called in for a quick drink and have always been met with with the same superb standard of hospitallity. Stunning surroundings, beautiful food and service. 2nd to none.

“Sunday lunch... a family affair”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 20, 2013

What a surprise! This place really was a treat. Arriving here at noon on Sunday, we weren't sure if we had the right place. It was empty. But we ordered and by the time our starters arrived, nearly every table was occupied. We don't like waiting too long between courses, so actually the timing of your arrival can make a difference. However, on a Sunday, if you are one who wants their traditional Sunday roast, this won't take too long for the kitchen to plate up. It's reasonable, family friendly and you will most likely have a good dining experience.

“Cannot fault”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 15, 2013 via mobile

Set in a lovely little village near work is a perfect place for lunch. Had sandwich and fat chips which were naughty but very scrummy. We also had soup and sandwich which also were very good. The staff were very polite and courteous as soup and sandwich were not an option on menu but they were happy to do it. Service was quick and the surroundings are luxurious and relaxing. Menu extensive through out the day.

“Went Back Four Times”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 13, 2013

We spent one week in Alderminster and ate at The Bell four times. It has outstanding food. The menu is varied and imaginative, the service is great and the atmosphere is welcoming. The risotto is perhaps the best we have ever had and the portions so large that a "starter" size was all we could manage. Sticky toffee pudding and a surprising dessert with chocolate and peanut butter were scrumptious. The later being so good that we asked for and received the recipe. Wish that we lived down the road from The Bell.

“First class”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 8, 2013

What a wonderful find the Bell turned out to be, we were on a two night break at the Ettington park hotel just up the road, it turned out they had a large wedding on when we first arrived, reluctant to take second place to the wedding we asked reception to recommend a local pub for us to eat at that night, the chap had no hesitation in recommending the bell and we are so glad he did, the food was nothing short of superb, I had a huge burger and my wife had crab and scallops, both were delicious!, but looking at the other meals that came out I think we would have been spoilt for choice, in fact we decided to return the following evening too and again we were not disappointed, the ham, eggs and chips was sublime, we would defiantly go back again if we were in the area
