“WORTH A VISIT IF YOUR IN THE AREA.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 21, 2013

My wife and i, along with two friends ate here in january 2013.
As we live local, we usually come here about five times a year.
The food was superb as usual, the staff were helpful and friendly.
The starters were served very quick as was the mains, the puddings, we waited about 25 minutes to get them, but they were again, very good and tasty, worth the wait.

“BEST food and service in a radius of Stratford upon Avon by far”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 21, 2013

WOW! I have lived in Stratford upon Avon area for 10 years now, have eaten pretty much everywhere in town, out of town in the various pubs and bistros. The Bell at Alderminster is absolutely the Best place to eat and share a meal out at this current time. Looking for relaxed dining, unpretentious food, elegant presentation, generous portions and excellent flavours and reasonable value for money.

My kids had a great time, me and my friend had a relaxed time too. Excellent attentive service. The pinnacle for us was the sharing platter of desserts. Unable to choose, we had a plate of 7 delicious temptations to sample which were all heavenly. Eating out... we now won't go anywhere else!

Fantastic food and great service. Interesting & wide variety on the menu and the food is high quality. The atmosphere in the pub is relaxing and very friendly.
Great pub, recommend for couples, friends and party bookings. Also a good place for business lunches!

“Gastro Pub”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 1, 2013

Second visit to The Bell for food, the first being for an impromptu Sunday lunch.

This time we ordered from the a la carte menu. We chose the pigeon for starter, slow roast lamb, and steak.Oh yeah, there was a cheeky Creme Brulee to finish.

Overall the food and service are excellent. The steak, which was served rare, was, according the my steak expert of a better half, cooked to perfection. The lamb was a riot of flavours, using curried flavouring to give it that extra je ne sais quoi. Creme brulee was divine. Don't really like rhubarb but it worked. Only negative on the food front was the pigeon - a bit overcooked and tasting a bit livery.

Nice vibe to to the place. More country pub than pretentious gastro pub. Friendly warm welcome.

Worth the ten minute drive out of Stratford.
