If you are in the area of Parma, Italy I believe it is a must to either have lunch or dinner at Antica Corte Pallavicina. The chef and owner, Massimo, is famous for his Culatello> Culatello is a type of ham that Massimo has won national acclaim for producing and hanging in his cellar. If you plan lunch allow at least 3 hours and some extra time to tour the prized cellar to see the parma cheese from the red cow and the culatello's.
The beautiful hotel has 6 rooms each one different and after dinner a real treat to go upstairs and slip into your beautiful bed.
For a first course be sure to order the tasting of culatello and don't miss the frog legs from the Poe river.
