Jane welcomed us with opened arms, provided a lovely room and a fantastic breakfast! She sent us on a lovely short walk with our dog to a close-by waterfall, gave us fabulous scones and cake on arrival and even went to buy us veggie sausages specially for our breakfast (not sure she gets vegetarian visitors very often but this didn't faze her at all).

She allowed our dog to stay in our room (at a small extra charge) although I know she's had some less than pleasant dogs to stay in the past - nothing seemed too much trouble for her.

We would love to return to Ben Wyvis Views again, it's in a beautiful location and is a fantastic place to unwind. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer!

Beautiful house overlooking Cromarty Firth. Ideal for touring the highlands as well as the moray coast and cairngorms.
The house modern, spacious and very comfortable.

Jane provides a great welcome to her guests. The breakfasts are something special.

This was our sixth visit.

Inverness makes a great base from which to visit the highlands, but only by staying with locals may one start to understand the warmth and wonderful character of the Scots. Jane, the proprietor and host, is one such warm and jovial Scot. The B&B is beyond immaculate, the breakfast is home made (I could eat the rhubarb and ginger jam with a spoon) and plentiful, served on a lovely table with excellent linens. Jane's knowledge of the area is fantastic, especially her restaurant recommendations. The room was spacious, spotless, the bed very comfortable, excellent water pressure in the shower, and good wifi. And, as the name implies, great views. Culbokie is only @20 minutes from Inverness, but a world away.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at Ben Wyvis Views in the middle of June this year when we were touring Scotland. We had a really relaxing time there; the accommodation was superb in a beautiful location. Our room was spacious with all facilities, the breakfasts were fantastic with loads of choice. Our hostess, Jane, is a really friendly, helpful lady and we had lots of laughs over the 3 days we were there. Ben Wyvis Views is ideally situated for seeing everything in the area, including Inverness. Highly recommended!

There are many good4 star B and Bs in Scotland, but this one stands out. Jane Hughson offers that little bit extra: linen napkins, 6 sorts of home made jam, honety from a neighbour's hives, gargantuan breakfasts very homely atmosphere. Nothing too much trouble. Why this isn't 5 star I'll never know. Oh, I asmost forgot to mention that BW VIews is ably supervised by Breagh the Dalmation. Always greets guests personally and welcomes them every morning. Keeps Jane on her toes!

We were walking from John O'Groats (top of Scotland) to Lands End (bottom of England) and after a long days walk arrived at Ben Wyvis Views to meet Jane who was very welcoming. The room was lovely, very comfortable and well decorated with a great view. After our shower Jane drove us to the local pub for dinner, The Culbokie Inn, for a good pub meal. We had a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed. Jane cooked a delicious breakfast, and was happy to cater to our needs - we enjoy porridge for breakfast when we're walking, as well as the full Scottish for my husband.

Room Tip: Room with a view to Ben Wyvis is delightful.
