We have been with Tiana Guesthouse three consecutive years starting 2011. Great team, great service and perfectly located in the heart of Cape Town. Price - Value is well balance but should not increase every year.

On arrival we were greeted by Dominque our host. A lovely lady who could not do enough to help us. We needed lots of help as we'd arrived a day and half later than planned as we'd missed a flight. ...

The rooms were absolutely lovely, tastefully decorated, with everything that you need. It was really nice having fresh milk in the fridge. I stayed in the first room after the main house and the bathroom was huge!

Breakfast was delicious (full English Breakfast for me every day!) and the table was set beautifully, like and old English country house. Everything fresh and cooked to order. Thank you Marcelo.

The house itself is situated in a very quiet residential area about 20 mins drive from Cape Town so I would say that you definitely need a hire car to get about. We didn't but Dominique sorted a taxi for us. We went to a really lovely restaurant very close by on our first night which I would really recommend - I think it was called 'The Brasserie' but Dominique will know! No need to travel into Cape Town if you fancy somewhere closer.

Thanks for a lovely stay Dominque - I survived the rest of the trip! ; )

Room Tip: I stayed in a room overlooking the pool - lovely. I think any room would be quiet as it's such a...

As a couple + 1 year old baby, we were unusual guests at Tiana. Nevertheless, Dominique made us feel very welcome and fulfill all our needs and requests. Our room was comfy and large, clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was delicious as well.
Although the location is a bit far from the city center (20 min drive), we found it very convenient to explore the Cape and with easy access to the airport.
Originally we planned to stay in Tiana only in our first night of the trip, but we loved it some much we decided to come back for two more nights at the end of our vacation. Thank you!! Uri, Rei and Yael

Room Tip: We stayed in the largest room, which has a private patio. It's seperated from the rest of the gu...

It was a pleasure staying in this nice guest house! The host "Dominique" is fantastic! We felt like Royal, everything was taken care off! Dominique organized visits at the various wineries and managed to get us into the popular restaurants. She given us the inside information where to go and what to see! The rooms are comfortable and elegant and the breakfast is TOP!

Tokay is so close to all the major tourist attractions, wineries, Cape Hope and Cape Town. The next time we will visit South Africa we will definitely stay in Tiana Guest House again but than for our entire stay of our vacation! Just lovely, relaxing with a very personal service! Love it! Thank you! Jeremy and Eric From Italy.

Love this place. The owner, Dominique, was gracious, friendly, warm, welcoming and much more. The rooms are clean the small pool area very relaxing. Good breakfast as well and the chef Marcelo is equally friendly.

My colleagues had to move to a second guest house midweek due to availability and I saw the place - like walking into a Biggie Best showroom - but they complained about noises from the upstairs bedroom, no fridges in the rooms, and a lack of warmth. After staying with Dominique it will be difficult to adjust to any other place.

By the way, I moved to a hotel on the Waterfront for two days after the work portion of my trip was done and I could not stop thinking about Tiana. I am definitely planning to stay there again.

I personally could not believe the price. Six days at Tiana was equal to two days on the Waterfront.

Room Tip: Loved the first room after the main guest house but all rooms seemed nice.

Tiana guest house is a really nice place to spend some time at Cape Town. The beautiful house offers whatever you need, including a living room to relax in, cozy bedrooms with very comfortable beds and a pool for a refreshing dip during the summer.

Dominique is a great host, Marcelo and her keep everything clean and perfect for the guests and offer assorted and freshly made breakfast every morning. She will be glad to help you with all your needs: looking for a restaurant, taxi, shopping, concerts and finding all worth visiting places in the western cape.

The guest house is located in the safe and quiet neighborhood of Tokai, close to beautiful Tokai mountain and some of the nicest beaches around, and well connected with the city center (25 minutes drive to the waterfront) and any other area of Cape Town thanks to the M3.

Definitely a great place to be.

We traveled down to Cape Town for my Schengen and US Visa's - the guest house is less than 10 minutes away from the US Consulate. Dominique was a great hostess and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble! The breakfast was excellent with a large variety of choices!! I would recommend this guest house to anyone visiting our beautiful Mother City!! :-)
