Reluctant to review this place to turn it into the next tourist packed attraction but hey, good things are to be shared and credits ought to be given when deserved!
Away from the usual packed touristy bustle of Chiang Mai, this place was heavenly. The view was incredible and this was easily the best part of our Chiang Mai/ Chiang Rai/ Laos tour.
Sitting in a bamboo hut on the edge of a mountain, enjoying the silence, the chilly breeze, having a hot late lunch & just watching miles & miles of breath taking scenery - words can't describe.
Food was fantastic & very reasonably priced.
The only con was that a lot of houseflies come when the food is served so you have to keep swapping. If you don't have a fear of butterfly like my partner does, you will definitely enjoy the dozens of butterflies flocking around the flowers.
Suggest visiting late afternoon to catch breathtaking sun set.
Tip: This place is pronounced as "Mon-Jam" to the locals.
