Owner description: Eagle Track Zipline established in 2010, we set out with the aim of creating a ECO friendly jungle zipline course for the enjoyment of tourists and to support the local community as well as helping conserve the surrounding jungle for future generations. Our zipline adventure is situated 40 minute from the center of Chiang Mai city. Situated between three jungle hill tribe villages in a beautiful hillside valley, with the river Maeram running through the middle of this fertile land leading to two waterfalls, which you are free to visit and relax in. Eagle track Zipline started the zipline project with full agreement from the local Hmong and Karen communities, who once cultivated popies in the area until it came under the royal project scheme after a visit from HM the King of Thailand in 1972, They then changed to alternative crops of brown rice, maize, egg plants, soy beans etc. Eagle Track Zipline is a community based tourism operator. Our zipline ECO adventure is operated in a co-operative manner with the etho-Eco agricultural livelihood conservation group in Bann Wang Hang, Maeram. We employ local villagers and put them through courses to be trained as professional guides, they have been fully trained in safety and advanced first aid, as well as speaking a variety of languages, they are friendly helpful and happy to answer any questions you have. This year we are planning on planting 2000+ tree seedling to help in areas where there has been deforestation. We also supply accommodation and meals for local people working at Eagle Track Zipline, as well as other community based ventures. Without you our customers none of this would be possible. Many thanks from Eagle Track Zipline team.

“Good experience & great value”
Reviewed July 23, 2013 via mobile

We chose this ziplining experience based on the recommendation of our excellent guesthouse. We weren't disappointed. The guides, 4 of them, were attentive, funny & not at all inappropriate as previously mentioned by some. We did the gold package & whilst the group was fairly large, 13, it wasn't really a problem. I was a little nervous af first but they quickly put me at my ease & i really enjoyed it. My 14 son had previously been to Flight of the Gibbon & said this was a comparable experience & it was much better value. Overall a great day.

“Best fun of our trip to Thailand!”
Reviewed July 22, 2013

This was one of the best experiences we had in Thailand. Our two guides "Dodo" and "Dada" were extremely professional, making us feel totally at ease and safe. They were chatty and funny and we had a brilliant day. We were sorry we had only booked the bronze package and wished we could stay all day. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Chiang Mai, suitable for all ages and ability.

“Great fund, but a lot of people”
Reviewed July 21, 2013

We came on a Sunday and it was cheap compared to other zip lines in Chiang Mai. So a lot of people were there. It seemed to be pretty safe, but not as safe as others, so e.g. on the trees the guides didn't ensure that they were always connected, but they always looked out that the guest were safe. It was fun and it is nice not only to do zip lines, but also have other fun in between.

“Great but underwhelming”
Reviewed July 20, 2013

Love zip lining, always. But since I've done it before it went a bit slow. We were waiting on platforms a lot. The instructors did all of our clipping and unclipping and were kind and lots of fun and the tour was beautiful - in the jungle canopy. I strongly recommend doing the gold package because the other two would have been over far too quickly. The buffet food after was nice and we even got free t-shirts after.
