Recommended length of visit: 2-3 hours
Owner description: Eagle Track Zipline established in 2010, we set out with the aim of creating a ECO friendly jungle zipline course for the enjoyment of tourists and to support the local community as well as helping conserve the surrounding jungle for future generations. Our zipline adventure is situated 40 minute from the center of Chiang Mai city. Situated between three jungle hill tribe villages in a beautiful hillside valley, with the river Maeram running through the middle of this fertile land leading to two waterfalls, which you are free to visit and relax in. Eagle track Zipline started the zipline project with full agreement from the local Hmong and Karen communities, who once cultivated popies in the area until it came under the royal project scheme after a visit from HM the King of Thailand in 1972, They then changed to alternative crops of brown rice, maize, egg plants, soy beans etc. Eagle Track Zipline is a community based tourism operator. Our zipline ECO adventure is operated in a co-operative manner with the etho-Eco agricultural livelihood conservation group in Bann Wang Hang, Maeram. We employ local villagers and put them through courses to be trained as professional guides, they have been fully trained in safety and advanced first aid, as well as speaking a variety of languages, they are friendly helpful and happy to answer any questions you have. This year we are planning on planting 2000+ tree seedling to help in areas where there has been deforestation. We also supply accommodation and meals for local people working at Eagle Track Zipline, as well as other community based ventures. Without you our customers none of this would be possible. Many thanks from Eagle Track Zipline team.

“Good Course, Inappropriate Guides”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 13, 2013

The zip line course was lots of fun and makes for a great day out in the jungle. Although the guides clearly know what they're doing, making the course very safe, I did not appreciate being groped. I was traveling in an all female group. At first the guides just pointed at us and snickered, which was ignored, but things steadily escalated. At one point I was sitting down waiting for my friends to finish crossing; one of the guides sat beside me and had the nerve to reach over and rub my inner thigh. It's the sort of thing that ruins your day. I complained, but was not taken seriously. Unfortunately the lack of professionalism displayed by the staff prevents me from giving a more positive review or a recommendation.

“Awesome! :-)”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 10, 2013 via mobile

Just returned from zip lining today and couldnt have asked for anything better.

The guides were really friendly and seemed to love their jobs...particularly 'spider man'.

The course was well thought out and at no point did we feel unsafe..although the last drop is fairly terrifying!

Thank you so much to all the team.

Ps. Ignore the reviewers that put it all seems the same after the first flight!

“Longest Zip Line in Thailand”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 10, 2013

The GOLD package was well worth the couple of hundred extra THB. We had a huge group of people, everyone from different hotels. We are from Brazil and America and there was a family from China and a mixed couple Thai and American. Our group of 10 had a wonderful day on the 35 platforms in the zip line inside of the jungle. Bring Bug Spray and take an extra bottle of water. We went to Chiang Mia just for the Eagle Line Zip line and found paradise and so many other things to do and had the time of our life !! I highly recommend you do the Eagle Track Zip Line and not the Gibbon. But the Segway Gibbon was a lot of fun !

the guys are top of the line!!! very safety conscious, great value for the money, amazing lunch too even for the fussy eaters. not too far a ride from the city. up to US safety standards. clean bathrooms. I am a previous girl scout mom along with a travel agent so am very fussy on safety and being clean.
