My daughter is 9 and very much into all things bugs. Her favorites are all arachnids, especially big spiders and scorpions. We all enjoyed this zoo, but she loved it. One of the employees took us around, avoiding school groups that were there, so that she could hold all the insects, including: mantis, beetles, walking sticks, and caterpillars among others. Yes it is on the small side, but if you have a child that loves bugs it is a must!

Museum only for enthomologists I suppose - many butterflies, many beetles. I cant understand why to kill so many same insects!! To see and to compare with others one will be enought... but here so many same species..

Nothing interesting for ordinary people, for us it was waste of time.

But if you want to see many dead beetles - you will like it. Some are really huge!

A little way out of town. Don't be confused with the museum in Chiangmai City. Small and interactive. Displays a bit tired however the staff were very hands on. Got to handle some large beetles, scorpions and praying mantis. Informative and worth a look if you like insects and Arachnida.

Great displays, freaked the 13 year out! Butterfly enclosure wonderful, and staff were so helpful, getting out various creatures for us to hold ... Thank you so much. Was magical

Plenty of mounted insect displays that were well documented. An opportunity for all to handle stick insects, caterpillars and spiders. It was an interesting hour but not worth the two hundred Baht per head. Half that would have been resaonable.
