Great displays, freaked the 13 year out! Butterfly enclosure wonderful, and staff were so helpful, getting out various creatures for us to hold ... Thank you so much. Was magical

“It's not a bugs life”
Reviewed January 11, 2014

Plenty of mounted insect displays that were well documented. An opportunity for all to handle stick insects, caterpillars and spiders. It was an interesting hour but not worth the two hundred Baht per head. Half that would have been resaonable.

“My son loved it!”

This is much better the the insect museum in Chiang Mai and much more fun. Especially that it's interactive and you can touch everything. The guides are also nice we had a nice time and entrance fee is not to exspansive.

“Butterflies and Scorpions”
Reviewed December 30, 2013

This facility has an extensive collection of mounted butterflies and moths, however what attracted me was the butterfly garden with a fair number of active species including a large number of birdwings( large swallowtails). There were also a number of live very large beetles which the Thais use for fighting and wagering, along with a number of live scorpions.

“Good close expereince with insect for kids”
Reviewed December 30, 2013

My family had a fun and hands on learning experience with the staff from the Insect Zoo. They even have scorpion that can be handled by visitors.

What I like about the zoo is that they do take good care of the insect there and we can see the the staff are truely caring about the insect, not just to make a circle out of them. Thumbs up.

The only down side we have is that some of the exhibits tanks/cases could use some renovation works. But majority of them are in good shape!
