“Timid Tigers”
Reviewed April 28, 2013

Tiger Kingdom was interesting to see, but the tigers were very lazy and just lying around and sleeping... We were told they're not given any medications, etc... But it's hard to believe.

We saw different size tigers and were able to get up close and take photos - different price depending on what size tigers you want to see. Beware, "small" does not mean cubs - they are kept away from the others and you do not have an opportunity to interact with them.
There was also one lion there and some other water activities available.

If you go, make sure to pre-arrange a ride home. We found it near impossible to get a taxi or tuk tuk back to our hotel afterwards.

“What a rush!”
Reviewed April 28, 2013

I can't believe I did it! What a rush! The staff that accompanied us in the cages we very attentive to us and the tigers. The animals were beautiful. We petted the large and small tigers. We hired a photographer and also took our own pics. They helped pose the animals for all photographers. We had plenty of trainers with us and I felt safe. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

“Amazing - but only the smallest”
Reviewed April 27, 2013

We were really affraid about the drugs, but we can say for 100 % percent that some of the tigres were really active - the smallest and the small. It was very funny and nice to see them. To touch them. The medium and big - they are just lazy, or druged... who knows?

“Wonderful Day With Tigers”
Reviewed April 25, 2013

We had a great day at Tiger Kingdom with the tigers. We chose a package where you got to spend time with the smallest, small and biggest cats. This was around $45 USD I believe, we also sprung for a photographer in the big cat area but we really didn't need to. The staff in each area is willing to take photos for you with your camera. We started in the smallest area and got to take many photos and even fed a baby tiger. We moved on to the small cats and then ended with the big cats. The animals were pretty active even though it was very hot out. The smaller cats kept playing in the water with one another. The tigers seemed happy, but some were sleepy. However, like most cats they are nocturnal and I wanted to curl up for a nap in the 100 degree heat too! I do wish there was more education involved. Perhaps when waiting to go into the park area, someone could provide a quick briefing with even basic information about tigers. I felt like the staff members were all more concerned about snapping photos of us with the tigers than telling us about the tigers or allowing us to just watch them. This could likely be a result of the demand of the majority of tourists, but I wish we could have had a little more education or information provided about tigers and how the tigers are benefited from this park.
