Brynhir Farm
Reviewed August 13, 2011

We stayed for three nights and were well looked after. There are two lounges for guest's use, and an extremely nice small dining room where breakfast and evening meals are served. Our bedroom was well furnished and although the en-suite was small (shower and toilet only, the washbasin was in the bedroom) it was perfectly adequate. We ate in two nights and the meal was excellent and good value, although three courses plus tea or coffee, rather than the 5 stated on the website. A very comfortable stay.

We spent 3 nights bed and breakfast here; it's off the main road up a narrow lane. The farmhouse is lovely - nice loung to sit in, should you wish. Bedroom nicely done out and bed very comfortable. The breakfasts were really nice and the service very friendly. My husband had a lovely chat with the farmer about sheep farming and learnt quite a lot! The grounds are lovely and two very friendly working sheep dogs! Lovely to witness all the new-born lambs romping with their mums! There's a good pub at the bottom of the lane 'The Laughing Dog' where you can get a very good meal. Beer is great too! Friendly locals. A good Thai restaurant opposite too! We would definitly go back.
