Description: The Harrow in Warlingham is a country pub & restaurant oozing rural charm and rustic character. Our picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub-food on our menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and fine wines gracing our bar.

Visited twice yesterday on a Monday and although hot it wasn't busy . Lunch was painfully slow an hour for a cheese sandwich isn't good enough . The menu said foccacia bread and the staff member told me she had never ever seen it with this bread ! Fish finger sandwich was mainly batter however they did take this off the bill
Popped in later on that evening and you may wonder why after the poor lunch but it has outside seating and good parking
Only had a few drinks and some chips and breads and again such a long wait for food
Please please get this sorted

We went to the Harrow Inn for a Father's Day meal as we had passed so many times and had always said we should try this place, as it was a lovely day we thought we'd give it try. When we arrived the staff weren't overly helpful as we were sitting outside we had to order our food from the bar, which was fine but table service would of been a better touch. We got our starters, which were average, we then waited about 20mins when my son's main meal arrived and ours arrived a further 15mins afterwards which was ok, as we weren't in a rush and my 3 year old was asleep so it was fine. but the main meal food was really substandard and not what i would expect from such an establishment, it was edible but not enjoyable. We then ordered some extra sweet potato fries which arrived about 2 mins later with the pot half full and warm, so i asked a waiter if this was a normal portion and he said no and went and got us another portion which was great, but shouldn't of had to ask in the first place. afterwards we ordered a child dessert and asked for the other desserts (as we ordered the 3 course fathers day meal) the childs dessert arrived a few mins later but our desserts didn't come, after about 25-30mins someone came over and told us one of the desserts we ordered was now sold out, so i asked for a refund as we couldn't wait any longer and that we should of been made aware way beforehand. The staff were very friendly but it would only ever go back here for a drink in the sunshine but i'd never eat there again. Shame as this place could be great

A last minute call saurus heading to the Harrow with some friends for lunch. This was decided that neither of us felt like cooking. We had a very nice meal with two of us having fish and chips – which was excellent. To a party had the fish and chips – which was excellent and to a party had ham egg and chips which they also said was very very good. The waitresses were very helpful and very friendly and then we all decided that pudding was in order. Two people had Kerry pie and ice cream and two people a selection of ice creams. This all went down very well in the now 32° think. I would recommend this as a very reasonable place for lunch for couples or with friends. All in all very enjoyable.

We were a large group out for a celebratory meal - perhaps it was the size of our group that the kitchen struggled with? The yorkshire puddings were flat, doughey and more like pancakes. Who can't make a Yorkshire Pudding for goodness sakes? The portions of meat were very poor and my husband's dinner was cold. I complained about the two very small slices of turkey to someone who looked like he could be a duty manager. He said this was just the way the meals are portioned up so I said in that case it wasn't good value at £10.50. The stuffing wrapped in bacon was vile.

He mumbled something about going to get some more meat and never returned.

Having said this the kids all opted for burgers which looked and tasted good so maybe they should just stop trying with the roasts? The waitress looking after our table was nice and police so totally not to blame.

I've eaten at the Harrow before and it's never been this poor. We definitely would not return for Sunday lunch again - waste of money.

Went on 2 June 2017 and the place was not busy. Was three people serving but one waiter seemed to be in dream land. Luckily we had the waitress. Only a few bar staff so people had to wait - this is not like I used to know when there were plenty of staff and quick service at the bar and also in the restaurant. Waited a long time for our meals and all the steaks were over cooked, with the medium coming out very well done. On the plus side the waitress/manager did not charge us for the steak. Will not be returning in the future. I pity the people who go there on a hot day when it is normally very popular
