Superb. Very relaxing. Stress free. Excellent sea views. Host Dennis was friendly and excellent. Certainly did not impose on us. Good nights sleep followed by a great breakfast. We loved this place and would stay again.

A group of us stayed at Seawater Lodge for a week while walking sections of the Great Southwest walk. It is a wonderful facility with 5 double rooms all with ensuites, 3 of which overlook the ocean. The rooms were excellent, as was the breakfast, and Dennis was a welcoming, and attentive host.
We would all recommend it highly, particularly as a launching pad for sections of the Great South West Walk

Room Tip: Ocean facing rooms are preferable

We were the only people staying on this night. It is very out of the way, about 15 minutes drive to Portland, and there was nothing open on Sunday to eat, so we had to drive into Portland and find something. Its a tiny town about 80 people I think, but its lovely.

We got put in the best room, it was very nice, King bed, views of the ocean and doors onto the big communal balcony, bed was very comfy but y wife found it a bit firm. No central heating or aircon but portable radiator heaters were in each room which was fine. There is a separate communal lounge with TV and kitchen. The rooms don't have TV's, but have electric blankets which you will need if in winter. The bathroom was a bit dated, but clean and had everything, although there was a shockingly cold breeze coming from under the bath so we had to keep the door shut.

We got breakfast included, it was very nice, cooked to order, also had continental options, juice, cereals, toast etc. Its a nice, relaxing out of the way spot, but if you want more 'action' stay in Portland. It could have been cheaper, especially as it was off season and empty.

Room Tip: The one at the top of the stairs, facing the ocean, you can hear the waves and the bed is BIG.

Cape Bridgewater is a fantastic location for families, couples, in fact, anyone!! The beach is just stunning. We stayed in the self contained house and it was soooo lovely. I to ally recommend it to anyone. My only advice is to stay longer!! There is so much to do and see. We all wished we stayed longer.

Room Tip: Go in a group and book the house. It will be your home away from home!

We stayed there for just one night when on the way to Apollo Bay. The accommodation was as expected and did not disappoint - sleep quality was excellent. Loved the balcony facing the ocean. The place had a home feeling and Denis (the host) tried his best to make us all feeling comfortable. If some had any second thoughts, the breakfast that he served must have chased them away.God, that was some breakfast! Served downstairs in common area where you could see him really going the distance. Thank you Denis! It was very short but enjoyable stay. See you soon!:)
