My friend booked her bridesmaids on to the flower arranging course here so we could learn how to put together the flowers for her upcoming wedding. I can't compliment it enough - the course was wonderful and we were so well looked after with tea, cake and probably the best pizza I've ever had from their wonderful wood fired oven. If flower arranging is something you've always wanted to try - or perhaps even a treat for mum on a girly day, this place is just PERFECT. What makes this place so lovely, apart from the quaint, charming surroundings, is the people - you won't feel more welcome anywhere else.

Shhhh...don't tell anyone but this is a lovely spot for tea, cakes and pizza from a wood fired oven. Let's hope it doesn't get too busy and the laid-back pleasant atmosphere is spoiled . The garden setting is picture-postcard and the food is well presented and tasty . Well done to the owners for creating a little slice of paradise !

Lovely pretty garden opposite The Talbot Inn, a must for anyone in Mells. Super friendly people, a bit ramshackle but that's the charm.

I know it's odd to say "pizza" when talking about a classic British cottage garden. But the gorgeous traditionally English garden was host to a wood burning pizza oven and a chef that made the most delicious pizza, in traditional Italian thin crust style. Eating pizza under the apple trees in a garden packed full of flowers, beautiful decorations and gorgeous views - surreal and wonderful at the same time.

The home made cakes and extensive range of snacks and hot/ cold drinks makes this lovely place a treat for everyone. Well behaved dogs seem to be welcome, as are children and whilst not the easiest of access, I think wheelchairs would be able to get to the main cafe part. My mother uses a stick and was able to explore the rest of the garden fairly easily.

The garden is open for free (they do ask for a small donation towards upkeep if you can but it's far from mandatory) and the food and drink is very reasonably priced. I loved it and will definitely be going again!

This is the place to take visitors to impress them. Very laid back open area for light lunch, teas, cakes, drinks etc.
Apart from the main group of tables, There are tables distributed in the garden for more intimate gatherings.
Good moderate prices but not sure about the pizza. £7.50 for well presented but nouvelle cuisine quantities. There should be more than a sprinkle of ingredients.
This is a trendy place, great fun and you should know that Mells itself is a preservation area and the buildings are - well - preserved as you would expect.
