We were really tired when we arrived on the Friday night after a heavy week at work. When we arrived we went straight to the spa complex. My wife loved it! After the session in the spa we felt completely relaxed and thoughts of work etc were long gone.

The hotel is really well laid out and furnished and all the staff we met were fantastic. The room was really luxurious and well equipped. Bed was fantastic and everything was clean and as expected.

The food was exquisite. Great variety and taste and the service was really good. Great choice of wines as well. Restaurant was fairly busy both nights with a nice mixture of people - staff coped very well.

The location of the hotel is really good as its close to the motorway but far enough to feel like you are in the middle of nowhere.

Highly recommended, will definitely return.

Stayed at this hotel for a wedding recently. Rooms were nice and large. Nice bathroom (although the floor did get quite wet because there was not a proper door on the walkin shower). Hardly any power sockets though so couldnt dry hair in front of mirror and also tebags hadnt been topped up - so could only have weird and wonderful flavours of tea in the morning after our stay. Generally a very nice hotel, and the function room for the wedding was also great. Didnt have breakfast or use the pool/spa facilities, but from what I saw it looked good. Definitely would recommend this hotel.

The hotel was lovely and clean, the food in the restaurant was amazing - well done to the chef. I loved the whole feel of the surroundings and the views from the windows were stunning.

This is the second time we have stayed here, pleasant surroundings and lovely rooms and if you are on the best side of the hotel you get fantastic views, we love it here because of the pool and spa, real luxury, fluffy towels supplied, heated hand rails, great showers its a real treat, the downsides are minor, no plug near the kettle in the rooms so you have to walk about with the boiling water, the food is very expensive and not that good although the breakfasts are great, all the staff were very helpful especially the reception ladies and the hotel is well placed for visiting Bristol.

Recently stayed at Cadbury as part of a business trip to the south west. Normally I would stay in the centre of Bristol but I decided on this hotel based on the fact that its website showed it had “first rate” spa/gym facilities.

From the moment of arrival to checking out the staff were pleasant and helpful. The spa/gym facilities are second to none and overall I enjoyed a relaxing break in the middle of hectic schedule.

We stayed for 3 nights in a standard room. Boutique style , but to an extent practicalities ( like a plug socket for the kettle next to the hospitality tray) sacrificed for looks.
During our stay there were 4 weddings. This is fine if they are in the self contained older part of the hotel. However, 2 wedding receptions took place in the main restaurant area which meant that the restaurant was closed & that there was no where to go within the hotel to sit & relax with a drink or a snack. On our last evening we had to go out to a local pub to get away from the noise. There is a bar in the spa, but this was also very crowded.
Lots of wedding guests understandably stay over night. However, if numbers are high, a buffet breakfast is then the only option for all guests. We hadn't expected this aftrer the table service of our first morning & it was a pretty chaotic, crowded & indigestion inducing arrangement.
We enjoyed the treatments that we had booked at the spa , but even we would not stay at this hotel again.

I'd just like to say what a wonderful night I spent at Cadbury House Hotel.

My sister and I booked to stay here for one night during the week as we were flying into Bristol airport and it was close by. Check-in was easy and the girls on the reception desk couldn't have been more friendly. In fact, all the staff were great - always helpful and chatty.

Our room was lovely - very modern with all the facilities you could need. We had dinner in the restaurant and were very impressed. The food was even better than we had expected.

This hotel has since become one of my favourites! I can't fault it and I will definitely be returning as soon as I can!
