“Worth the taxi fare to/from Bristol Airport”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2012

I'm glad we went a little further afield from the airport to this lovely hotel. It was worth the taxi fare (£18 each way) and was about 20 mins drive from the airport. Beautiful setting and warm, efficient welcome at Reception. Room was stylish and clean, although a little dark lighting wise but not an issue for us. Flat screen tv, comfy twin beds and good temperature controls. Enjoyed free use of gym, huge swimming pool. Opted to eat in the bar area for dinner rather than posh restaurant. Bar food choice was excellent and delicious ; friendly service and relaxed atmosphere. We hadn't anticipated a spa-like airport hotel experience so were surprisingly relaxed pre-flight! Amazing breakfast for £10 per head worth every penny. Will definitely use again if need a Bristol Airport area hotel or just a relaxing spa weekend!

A great 2 night stay, the hotel is welcoming on arrival. Rooms are modern, and even if the window in the room was on the small side the views were good overlooking the river. It was fabulous to see the mist covering the local town of Yatton in the morning. The spa cannot be beaten. So if you are looking for a good quality hotel, where you can spend some time enjoying a swim, sauna and exercise, do not look any further, we think this is the best in Bristol. We used the spa during the afternoon and evening, and on both occasions we did not find them over busy. We ate in The Lounge, next to the Spa on our first evening and were planning on the restaurant for our second night, however we really enjoyed the good food, excellent service, value for money and choice that we decided to eat there again on Saturday. The breakfasts were super, the range is great and you can choose between very healthy or go for the whole hog, and have a huge help yourself cooked breakfast. There were a couple of evening parties going on, and the guests were a little noisy on returning to their rooms at night, enough to wake us both nights. Nothing the hotel could do anything about, perhaps maybe on arrival or a little note on the desk to request if returning late to try and keep quiet late a night. Well done, great hotel, will certainly stay and again and recommend.

The food in the restaurant is absolutely amazing. Bernadette was a perfect waitress, very helpful and informative and very attentive.
We were a party of 14 and we were all extremely happy with all courses. Great service.

I booked a family meal for my brother and sister-in-law's 40th Wedding Anniversary - there were 21 of us. We were all delighted with everything we experienced. We had pre-lunch drinks in the very comfortable lounge area whilst all meeting up. The staff were very friendly, accommodating and attentive and this included Alex (asst manager)....nothing was too much trouble. The meal itself was excellent (we went for the set menu which we found very reasonable) we had a choice of 4 dishes for each course and everyone was more than impressed with the quality. We also used the local florist Kimberley who made a beautiful arrangement and decorated the table with balloons which made the celebrations complete. We wouldn't hesitate recommending Marco's restaurant !!

We have stayed here prior to early flights for three years now. The service is outstanding. From arrival to return to car following two weeks parking we have never had any problems. If you like the cookies on arrival you will love the restaurant. Marco restaurant delivers for everyone from a reasonably priced table d'hot to a la carte its not to be missed. We have stayed when a large wedding was being held but still got a great nights sleep.

We stayed at this Hotel on 27/9/12 prior to flying to Lanzarote the next day.
The hotel was lovely, with beautiful grounds and well manicured lawns. We were met in reception by friendly staff, and were each handed a complimentary home baked gain chocolate cookie. This was no ordinary cookie, it was heaven and was warmly backed.
After checking in we made our way to our room. The room was spacious and very well decorated with a modern luxury feel. Tea and coffee facilities were present as well as a flat screen TV that was wall mounted with Internet keyboard.
The beds were very comfortable and the linen had a luxury feel to it.
The bathroom was large with all the usual items being present including bath and shower was, shampoo and creams.
We used the bar later that evening and once again we were not to be disappointed it w well laid out and had a very nice comfortable feel to it.
Once again the Hilton have got it all right and ticked all the boxes.
Included in our stay was free secure on site parking in the hotel grounds. A taxi to the airport takes 10 to 15 mins and cost £12.
