The pro's first
There is a lot of things to browse over as the place is very big and the selection of things are very big so you can send a lot of time there and they have toilets and two cafes as well but other shops to browse as well from clothing to pets and just everything you could think of

The Cons
In the main eating place they do say a roast dinner with all the trimmings but i was given just two slices of beef on top of some mashed potato with carrots
No roast potatoes or Yorkshire puddings or all of the trimmings i would expect on it as advertised (as it says roast dinner with all the trimmings)
So ask at the till to what your going to get as for the money i was very disappointed in What i got
Try e mailing their manager and i got no ware so i was a bit disappointed in the dinner but liked everything else

Such a lovely place to go. Lots of choice from different departments. Great cafe with a good choice of meals at great prices. Plenty of free parking too.

Every year i take a trip to collect xmas decs and gifts. Although its still good, its not as good as it once was. The centre has had a facelift but the selection has got smaller.

Whilst there we stopped for lunch. Dirty uncleared tables, dirty floor and very poor, slow service.

When other centres are closer and upping their game, is it really worth the travel? Think twice.

We were staying in a hotel close by and decided to stop here to browse before heading to our hotel. Such a lovely garden centre with a cafe and a Costa coffee shop. The garden centre sells a whole host of things and had a lovely display of Christmas decorations, lights and goodies. There are some shop outlets, Clarks, Edinburgh woollen mill, mountain warehouse and a few others. Plus there is an adventure golf place for children. Thought this garden centre was a lovely place to browse or treat yourself to something nice

Well worth a visit. It's big and has a lot of choices. The Butchers shop is highly recommended with great choices of meats, pies, cheeses etc. You have both a restaurant serving great food and also a Costa. Staff are very helpful and polite. You can buy anything from shoes to a rabbit, sausages to a shrub and of course, cider.

I was hoping for better things for the plant quality after the recent take over by Blue Diamond, but unfortuantly not. I suppose as the same staff and
Manager are there and it was poor quality it stand toreason it hasn’t improved, what a shame!

Since being taken over AGAIN, this time by Blue Diamond, the place has gone even further down the drain. Prices are exorbitant and even when they had a special offer on (clearly marked) I was told , 'no' it doesn't include that item even though it clearly said it did (not the most pleasant of staff either - very abrupt , but not quite rude).
As for the 'outlet centres' who trade in there, you can buy cheaper in almost any high street shop and from a better range.
Christmas display bordered on pathetic and, again, the prices were so over the top, we just turned around and left.
Unless it is a cold, wet day and you have nothing better to do, avoid this waste of space.

This establishment has changed ownership several times over the years but seems to have retained its appeal . There are many outlets selling everything from candles to furniture , shoes to top quality foodstuff. You can even buy a hot tub.
There is a large restaurant plus a COSTA if all you want is a coffee and snack.
For animal lovers there is a huge pet section offering fish , birds and exotic species plus all the accompanying paraphanalia that you would need.Obviously being a garden centre there is a huge collection of the green stuff and all the associated tools etc. You can join the loyalty scheme and collect points towards your next purchases. All in all a very pleasant establishment.

We came here on a Sunday afternoon for some lunch in the ‘restaurant’ and were not impressed. The prices are high and the quality of the food just doesn’t reflect it at all. The jacket potato was cold and dry with no butter on and the cheese on top wasn’t melted, making it not as enjoyable and messy to eat. We ordered a ham and cheese toastie along with a cheese and tomato toastie and both had very little filling with a very small amount of cheese inside, not to mention the bread was rather burnt on both sandwhiches, making them dry and not very nice. Also, we had to wait rather a long time for our food to arrive, despite it being such a simple order and despite the fact that there appeared to be many staff members working. Also not overly impressed with the overall service and welcome from staff which wasn’t particularly friendly at all.

A decent time needed for a wander through. Rarely buy much as prices aren’t competitive. Really enjoy seeing the animals and buying from the farm shop at the end. Butcher staff are always helpful. Will return.
