we had a fabulous day out on this excursion. we were picked up from our hotel and taken to the port from where we took a short boat trip to pick up the catamaran. we then sailed to a beautiful beach where we spent an hour before taking lunch on the boat. there was unlimited drink throughout the day which made it great value. the food was excellent given that it was cooked on the boat. the crew were superb and the guide was both multi lingual and hilarious!

We were picked up (ontime) and taken to the ferry - spent an hour on Graciosa (enough) and then onto the catamaran for about a 30 minute sail. It has a free bar (too hot to even think about over-doing it!) and snacks available all the time. We then anchored and there was a choice of taking the little boat the 100m or so to the beach, or swimming it, or snorkelling. 6 kayaks were taken ashore and available for use. We chose swimming around the boat, which in July is very tolerable! We never went ashore and you really could chose to sit & enjoy the experience if you didn't fancy an activity. After about 2 hours the meal is served back onboard, which was great, especially considering the location (a 100 person catamaran) anchored in a lovely bay. Our party was a mixture, with plenty of children (it was a Saturday) of several nationalities and it was all very friendly.

The host was the perfect man for the job, spoke 3 languages fluently - and was certainly humorous in his British banter (probably was in Spanish & French!). He made it feel like it was all a good time and was as great talking to the children on board as he was 'charming' the young ladies. Thoroughly enjoyed the day - and it seemed remarkable value.
