Owner description: Pardelas Park is a natural recreative park, a leisure alternative well bounded up with nature. Situated only one kilometer off the village of Orzola, at this place the visitor can enjoy the flora and animals of this farm. There is also a children's playgroud, pottery work shop and a confortable restaurant with a shady terrace where on can taste the typical plates of the island as well as tapas and wine from Lanzarote.

I completely agree with the last reviewer - this really is a little gem of a place to visit with young children, and you are made to feel like you are being welcomed into the family. The workers are passionate about the animals on the farm and are keen to share their knowledge of Lanzarote. Yes there are a limited amount of animals, however our 19 month old was completely taken with all the animals, particularly the ones roaming around and older children will love the handling of the young animals and feeding them with the bread provided when you go in. There is also play park items and a couple of toys for children to play with. And children can participate in a pottery lesson. We stayed for lunch and the food was not only lovely but it was a steal. We left quite a large tip because it felt like we had underpaid for whole experience (such good value!) and the woman said that this would go to the animals. A family could certainly spend a full morning or afternoon here, which is certainly worth the 4.50 euros access for each adult. We loved this place, it was so good to take our wee one to a traditional Spanish farm, and we will definitely be back.

Ignore the lack of animal variety ("is that it" I heard from a family, idiots). It was a fantastic venue, made special by the welcome and personal guided tour. You get a bag of bread to feed the animals etc etc. but the staff made us feel like guests in their home, not a meal ticket. Best part of the day, you HAVE to stay for lunch. Make it part of your family trip!!

The location of this farmstead is very beautiful and this was a nice excursion for us to the top of the Island as we were staying near Playa Blanca. It was, however, a very small farm and was very exposed to the sun so we didn't spend much time in the playground. We also didn't eat at the restaurant as there was a kids party going on so it was quite noisy with older children. We probably visited at a bad time as other reviews have been better, but we were not overly impressed.

What a lovely little place run by local people who were just the nicest people and gave us amazing customer service. Really cheap to get in and for the entry cost you get a bag of bread to feed to the animals and the kids also get some clay to model. They also have lots of climbing frames and slides to use and a restaurant serving local food.

We went with our 2 year old in between visiting Mirador del Rio and Jameos del Agua. The staff have excellent English, nothing is too much trouble for them and they are really attentive to the wee ones. They are also happy to give you some local knowledge about the island and recommend places to drive or walk to nearby for good views. They also have lots of info about local flora and fauna if you were interested in finding out about that.

We stayed for lunch and it was without a doubt the best and most value for money food we had on the island, big portions of really fresh salad, bread with dipping sauces, canarian potatoes and the obligatory hamburger and fries for hubby. All this followed by slices of watermelon eaten in their lovely wee shaded terrace.

Definitely go there if you are hiring a car.

This locally run farm park off the main tourist trail was well worth a visit. Excellent value (EUR16 for a family of 4) this was arguably the most fun our children (5 and 4) have had on holiday. As well as getting to feed a range of animals from rabbits and hens to goats and pigs, there's a small play area for children. The entrance fee includes food for the animals and also clay with which to make models of animals which can be taken away as souvenirs. In many respects this is more basic and much less commercial than other attractions on the island, but well worth a visit for an hour or two. The canarian owners could not have been more welcoming, and took time out to tell us about the park and also to make clay models with the children.
