I will keep coming back to Mas De Garrigue. This is my 3rd time there and Steve and Sarah are the best host ever. For a bed and breakfast, Sarah and Steve will also provide an optional fantastic dinner. There is so much to see in the Lot River Valley and this is a great location as a home base to see it all. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable beds. A quick hint is to book directly with Mas De Garrigue because you will get a better choice for rooms.

Room tip: Upstairs rooms have a great view of the valley

We stayed two nights and wished we could have stayed longer.

Having lived in the area for a dozen years, the kind and courteous hosts are very knowledgeable of the best to experience in the area: Albi, Cahor, Figeac , Sarlat, etc. Originally a nobleman’s hunting lodge, the mas is an expanded and fully restored version of a great farm house. It’s very quiet, surrounded by wheat fields and four other farm houses down the road. It has expansive views. One can take a short walk to the Lot River. The pool and lack of direct neighbors, makes it feel like a small resort in the countryside. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and well appointed. Ours had a full bath, separate shower and separate toilet along with two vanities. There are lots of nice touches, such as, water in a bottle and two glasses in the room, nice antique furniture, thick drapes, blackout windows and travel books and brochures. Breakfast is classic with ample coffee. A four course dinner can be arranged. The first night we joined impromptu for dinner the hosts and a Parisian couple looking to buy a vacation home in the area and who couldn’t go out that night. A rare and lucky occurrence, we had a great evening eating, drinking and discussing our travels and working experiences abroad. The next night we drove the short distance to the “must-see” idyllic, but touristy, hill town of Circ de Lapopie. I wish we had joined back up with the French couple who went even closer to an elegant restaurant in the neighboring town of Carjac. C’est la vie!

A wonderful surprise and thoroughly delightful. The hosts were wonderful. The scenery was truly bucolic, the area was enchanting and our visit was memorable. My wife and I were only due to stay one night but stayed two...if we had had more time we would have stayed a week.

Thank you to Sarah and Steve for a memorable and wonderful stay at their beautifully restored Mas. The dinners outside were incredible, and the surroundings very peaceful and relaxing. We much appreciated all their local knowledge and suggestions of places to visit, walk and eat. We hope to be able to return, and promise not to get lost so many times! Do not hesitate to choose this special B&B

Room tip: All are absolutely stunning! You cannot go wrong!

We had a very pleasant stay here and particularly enjoyed the breakfasts, Steve and Sarah's local knowledge, and the comfy beds. Would definitely recommend. The room was very spacious and the pool area was lovely and peaceful too, and good for star gazing at night.
