Brilliant booking service, very efficient staff on reception and at the bar and in the restaurant. Room comfy. Disappointed with breakfast, very busy as there was a wedding party staying so lots for breakfast. One waitress on duty, did a brilliant job but couldn't keep up with the demand. ran out of hot items for breakfast. Poorly managed. What a shame.

I was recently a guest of the hotel, as it is very close to Windsor, where I was attending an event. It seemed to be quite a nice place to begin with, giving the welcoming staff and the clean cozy room that I’ve been given. But the technical problems kept on and on, culminating with the awful experience the morning before my leaving.
I am truly disappointed in the hotel’s management, because it is not acceptable for a so called 4-stars hotel, to have only ONE person serving in the restaurant, when you have a full house. The poor girl gave her best trying to satisfy everyone’s needs. But it’s not human to handle 50 persons at once. Is there even enough staff or are they all on holiday, by any chance?
Who changed my mind from thinking the worst of this hotel, was the receptionist Adrian who was very helpful and understanding. At the check out, although I’ve been waiting for so long, because everyone seemed to be filing a complaint that day, he managed that stressful and embarrassing situation remarkably, proving his highly developed customer care skills.
The overall hotel score is ok thanks to their great quality staff, but the management should really consider all those bothering matters that are going on, because they are scaring customers off.

Have just returned from an overnight stay here and i have to say that if we had an upgraded room(club) then i dread to think what the classic double we were initially given would have been like. The bed was absolutely filthy, pillows threadbare too boot. In the bathhroom there was insulating tape wrapped around the towel rail supply pipe, a broken telephone with bare wires showing in the bathroom also. A half used sachet of hot chocolate with the tea and coffee facilities shows how much attention to detail the room staff take. The hotel information card states that the tap water is not safe to drink yet they provide a kettle in the room which you naturally fill up and use. We mentioned this to the receptionist who checked and told us they did not realise it still said so on the card yet it was safe to drink the water!! The room has great potential yet sadly i dont think it will ever be realised under the current management. We had a deal that included a 3 course dinner and breakfast, i have to say it was very good, the food, the staff were excellent and we would not hesitate to go back and eat there again, if the food was not so good i would be deliberating between 1 or 2 spots on the rating, it saved them a bit. Having said all this the hotel is in an ideal place to visit Windsor and the surrounding area, train station opposite and a 20 minute walk(approx1.5miles) into Windsor. The bar area is quite nice. We did have a good deal, so i am not sure if i would be prepared to pay the full price for a stay here. It could be a great place to stay if a lot more emphasis was placed on attention to detail.

Stayed here for 3 nights and what initially attracted me was the price, seemed like a great value given it's location one stop on the train from Windsor, 10 minute drive to Heathrow, and less than an hour on the train to London. It's a quaint old building that has been updated nicely, the staff is friendly, and the hotel was very tranquil. I would definately stay here again given it's location and value for money as well as the overall cleanliness and charm of the hotel.

It’s marvellous to see that a building, that been around since 1335 has been brought into the 21st Century as a successful Boutique Hotel.
It might be “tired” in places and not quite 4* however the staff are absolutely 5*. In particular, my special thanks to Vlad Mucenic for his attentiveness and professionalism. Having stayed there on various occasions and in three different rooms, any issues I came across were immediately rectified. Busy as they were, it was refreshing to see Staff (Selina, Adrian, Riana, Marilyn to name but a few) from all areas be it Restaurant or Reception, were always cheerful and courteous.
In the evenings, I enjoyed using the lounge or Library to carry on with my paperwork. It was far enough away from the Bar/Restaurant area and hence peaceful enough. I have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel

I took my partner for afternoon tea after i purchased a groupon deal. The usual cost on this was £40 for afternoon tea and a glass of bubbles each. I paid £20 but in all honesty after my experience would pay the full price and go again. We were provided with fresh finger sandwiches a scone each and a slice of cake. The room felt like home and the service was excelent and friendly. Highly recommended.

Was booked through booking.com. Room was compact but very well equipped. The bed was very comfortable with a choice of feather or non feather pillows. The shower was surprisingly powerful for an old building. Breakfast catered for everyone's needs and was of a very high standard. I requested room service for an evening meal - the food was delightful and certainly not over priced. I would not hesitate to recommend The Manor but I would advise ringing before arrival as parking on site is very tight. They do have additional parking 2mins on foot away, you may need directions
