Good location right on the beach and short drive to the local shops, etc.
Friendly and welcoming environment with play grounds, tennis court, swimming pool. Good outdoor environment for warmer weather. Ideal for families.

Staff were really friendly, however, I was concerned when I was told that is was almost impossisble for them to send me an email with details of my booking.

I thought this place was fairly over priced. Although the rooms were clean, in working order, and pleasant, we still had to pay $250 a night and there was no air con, just ceiling fans (but these did not allow enough circulation). And the beds were not even made. I suppose you just have to be aware of that when you go here. Also, the mattresses were fairly thin so it was not the most comfortable experience.

If this placed was better priced, it would be a big hit!

Room Tip: The rooms with the jacuzzi looked fancy and had more space.

Rude, rude , rude staff as a whole. I would never set foot in this place again, over priced unfriendly place.
If you like a cruise on the ocean without the views, this is your place, the cabin move around so much from the unstable foundations, it is very much like being adrift on the ocean on a rolling sea.
Staff spend time making kids uncomfortable.
Not family friendly

Would strongly advise not to go to this place.

We paid $245 for a garden view cabin. The cabin itself is cute and although small the high ceilings and large windows give it a bright, airy feel. Fairly clean and tidy but holes in the very tatty curtains and a very old bedroom carpet bring down what could be lovely accommodation. Put some blinds in and change the carpet and it would look totally differant and possibly worth the $245 a night.
In saying that the location is really what u are paying for. Right on the beach so the sound of the ocean waves are heard through the night. My kids 1 and 4 abosolutely loved the giant spa and pool area. The pool has rapids and fountains and waterfalls and a great place to make new friends. The cafe had all the basic's plus espresso coffees and yummy bacon and egg rolls. I would probally go back again but only if they had a cheaper deal.

We stayed at the Blue Lagoon for a short break with the family (Age 4 - 13). We stayed in a garden villa, for a discounted price, from a travel webpage. It was reasonably priced, at the discounted price, being so close to Sydney. The accomodation was very clean, and the park facilities were well maintained. The office staff were very helpful, both in person and on the phone when we arranged a late check-out. The kids loved the pool, and the rock pool. The cabins could do with a 'freshening up', and air conditioning. Our family had a great stay and would definitely return.

Firstly the price of the beach fron cabins is WRONG!!! $240.00 per night in Feb midweek. They have no air conditioning and are tiny. The kids rooms are so small and very hot. They only have ceiling fans in the main bedroom and lounge room/main living area. There were cockroaches and I don't think the carpet had been vacuumed in a very long long time, one night I seen a huge rat on the tiny balcony. The balcony is tiny and the floor boards need replacing. For $240.00 per night mid week AIR CONDITIONING should be standard, the amount of money they make they should be fitting air con in all cabins.

1. Rude, rude , rude lady iN the front office who told us " stop being so impatient when we tried to manouver around a service van that was left unattended in front of the entrance boom gate to enter out $320 a night accomadation.
2. Cockroach poo under the coverlet of the beds
2. Ant nests in the childrens playground
3. Ants in our bathroom
4. The cabin was very ordinarily cleaned, lets just say i never let my children walk barefoot in there.
5. DVD player did not work
6. When you pay $10 a night for a cot, you would think it would be mad up, not a porta cot that you have to set up and make yourself.
7. over priced for truly second rate 3 star only accomadation
MAYBE IF IT WASNT FOR THE RUDE RECEPTIONIST I MIGHT HAVE LET THESE THINGS GO, BUT IF YOU DONT HAVE GOOD SERVICE THEN WHAT DO YOU HAVE. A BAD EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!

No wonder this place has not had any reviews yet, everyone wants to keep it a secret.
A great place to stay if you have a family. Fantastic heated pools, every clean amentities block. The beach is at your door step. What else can you possibly want. This is the best park we have ever stayed at in NSW and only 1 hour from Sydney. But dont stay here because then we wont have a site..... Will be a regular use for our family.
