We couldn't get food in any of the local pubs but these guys were really welcoming and provided lovely individually prepared meals well after their normal service times. Other clearly local customers moved tables to accommodate us (a party of 8) and John (the patron) provided the floor show.
Freshly caught local trout, lamb shank and a tasty (not too salty) gammon steak were the highlights but puddings were good too. Good honest English food served with humour!
Just lovely to find a place like this so unexpectedly in such a beautiful but remote location.
