Dined here when they first opened. Service I thought was excellent but the food was average at best. The highlight of that night came when the chef came out to argue with me that the fish wasn't under-cooked. I thought it was highly unusual for a chef to come out and argue with a customer for a simple request of cooking the "same fish" tad bit longer. But then again, what do I know??
Fast forward to 2016......decided to give this place another shot. I was actually quite excited to dine here again. Did the tasting menu with wine pairing. My excitement soon turned into a disappointment as I tried one average dish after another in an almost empty dining room. Wine pairing wasn't much of pairing as they were introduced as "red", "rose", & "white" wine.
Not sure what it takes to be on the Asia's 50 Best Restos. But from what I can tell, I don't even think they're Philippines' 50 best. But then again, what do I know??
