“Average to good food, quite expensive”
Reviewed January 14, 2014

We went to have dinner here in December with my family - there were 6 adults and 1 child in total.

We ordered the Queso pizza (P395) which was a good surprise - a lot better than all the reviews we've read about their pizzas. This was quite small, but you can have it sliced by 4 or 8 - so at least everyone can have a taste. The garlic cream mushroom fetuccine (P495) was excellent as well - just the right creaminess. The salt baked gindarra filet (P420) - which was supposed to be one of their best dishes , was a huge disappointment. I know it was baked coated in rock salt - but the actual fish was just too salty. The staff also recommended the slow roasted beef truffle belly (P520) as one of their best dishes - but this was also just average. The lamb stew (P495) was just ok.

Their berry lemonade sparkler (P110) was very good though!

Overall, I think the food was average to good - a little on the expensive side for the quality and quantity of food. The bill came to about P3500 - but everyone was still so hungry at the end of dinner that we ended up eating a second dinner somewhere else.

“Great concept, average execution”
Reviewed November 28, 2013

Stella, and the affiliated Rocket Room next door, specialise in dishes from the wood-fired oven. Their menus are extensive and interesting and you can order from both menus, mainly tapas style dishes, pizza and pasta.
We ordered four tapas dishes, all of which were good to very good, but not good enough to justify the prices.
The morcilla (395Php+), my most anticipated order, was the weakest of the four, with the morcilla being too smoky for my taste.
The seafood ceviche with nacho chips was very tasty, but it wasn't ceviche, more like a guacamole with a few miniscule pieces of seafood inside.
The wood-fired octopus was good too, but there was hardly any octopus on the plate but lots of potato salad, which wasn't what iordered the dish for.
The lamb in claypot was the best dish, crunchy, juicy, a decent portion and the only dish actually worth 400 Php.
Verdict : this could be an amazing restaurant, i love the concept, but the food is overpriced for what you get and the drinks, esp. the wine, even more so.
3 and a half

“Excellent food and ambiance”
Reviewed November 18, 2013

My daughters and I recently had lunch here over the weekend. We were planning to eat somewhere else but we stumbled on this restaurant on the way. So glad we did!! The food was excellent, service was attentive and the ambiance was cozy. We ordered the Stella salad, french style baked clams and cheese pizza. The pizza was good for 4 persons but it was so good, we quickly devoured it. It was filled with 7 kinds of cheeses both baked and some added after the baking. We also had cocktails even at lunch! The mango and orange flavored tea was also good. Highly recommended, we will be back soon

“Eclectic mix of flavours, funky atmosphere”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

Liked the range of options on the menu, including a large selection of side items (great to order for kids). Flavourful food. Service was a bit slow.
